Selective fire firearm systems and methods
A selective fire firearm may be provided having a fully automatic open bolt and a semi-automatic closed bolt mode of operation. The firearm may include a trigger group having a trigger prop that ensures that, when the trigger is released in the fully automatic open bolt mode, the bolt carrier stops in an open bolt position held by an open bolt sear. The trigger prop may include a foot that, following a first trigger pull in the fully automatic open bolt mode, slides under and props a rear end of the trigger in a position that allows the open bolt sear to catch the bolt carrier when the trigger is released and propped but prevents the trigger sear from engaging the hammer.
Selective fire firearm systems and methods
A selective fire firearm may be provided having a fully automatic open bolt and a semi-automatic closed bolt mode of operation. A gun-type firing device using a caseless projectile is disclosed. The caseless projectile has a bullet head and an impact seat at two ends thereof and a groove adjacent to the impact seat. The gun-type firing device includes a gunstock, a gun bolt and a gun barrel. The gun bolt is located on one side of the gunstock. The gun bolt includes a cocking handle and an extractor. The cocking handle can perform a linear displacement movement along the extension direction of the gunstock. The extractor is located at one end of the cocking handle. The gun barrel is located on the gunstock and is adjacent to one end of the gun bolt. The gun barrel does not have rifling.
GUN-TYPE FIRING DEVICE USING CASELESS PROJECTILE
A gun-type firing device using a caseless projectile is disclosed. The caseless projectile has a bullet head and an impact seat at two ends thereof and a groove adjacent to the impact seat. The gun-type firing device includes a gunstock, a gun bolt and a gun barrel. The gun bolt is located on one side of the gunstock. The gun bolt includes a cocking handle and an extractor. The gun barrel is located on the gunstock and is adjacent to one end of the gun bolt. The gun barrel does not have rifling.

Non-semiautomatic receiver compatible with AR15/10 line of components, parts and accessories
A receiver for a firearm and a method of disposing the receiver to prevent automatic reloading and/or trigger reset of a firearm are disclosed. A blocking mechanism is moveable between an upward and a downward position and the blocking mechanism is in the downward position when the firearm is in battery. The blocking mechanism automatically moves to the upward position after a round is fired and the blocking mechanism prevents automatic reloading and/or trigger reset of the firearm when in the upward position.
AMBIDEXTROUS FIREARM CONTROLS
Various embodiments are directed to ambidextrous firearm controls, including an ambidextrous bolt control assembly and/or ambidextrous magazine release and associated methods. The ambidextrous bolt control assembly may include a bolt catch configured to hingedly connect to a firearm to rotate between a disengaged position and an engaged position, the bolt catch may include a first bolt catch engagement button operable from a first side of the firearm and a first bolt catch release button operable from the first side of the firearm; an ambidextrous bolt catch engagement button operable from a second side of the firearm; and an ambidextrous bolt catch release button operable from the second side of the firearm; wherein the ambidextrous bolt catch engagement button and the ambidextrous bolt catch release button may each be separately movable relative to the firearm. The ambidextrous bolt catch assembly may further include an ambidextrous magazine release assembly.
Firearm Bolt Catch Assembly
An improved firearm bolt catch assembly for the lower receiver of a firearm, the assembly having a lift arm that retains the bolt of the firearm in a retracted position after the cartridge magazine has been emptied, such that the firearm does not need to be re-racked when an empty magazine is removed and replaced with a full magazine. The lift arm is substantially C-shaped, having an elongated middle segment and a pair of transverse legs. Each of the transverse legs is pivotally mounted onto the lower receiver. The lift arm is raised by the magazine follower when the last cartridge has been discharged. An insert assembly is also disclosed.
