Gymnasium game with projectiles, movable target, and two teams
A gymnasium or playing field game apparatus provides one or more movable target components in the shape of a mascot mounted on swivel casters which roll on the gym floor or other playing field. Each component serves as a movable target for projectiles thrown by two teams from geometrically opposite sides. Each mascot is moved incrementally upon being impacted by a projectile to move the mascot on the gym floor until it breaks through a designated goal finish line of traffic cones protecting one team or the other.
Dice angle game
A dice angle game is played on an apparatus that has a playing surface, at least one side wall, at least one barrier within the playing area, at least one demarcated scoring area, at least one enhanced scoring area of sufficient size for at least one die to enter, and a plurality of dice. The game is played by rolling a dice against a side wall and trying to have it land in a scoring area.
SYSTEM FOR TEAM BALL GAME HAVING INTERACTIVE GOAL BARRIERS
Systems and devices for a team game played on an obround court includes radially symmetric barriers defining cylindrical goals having circular openings concentric with the semicircles of the obround court. An annular halt zone extends around the barriers. A free throw line extends around each halt zone. An obround judge lane extends along the perimeter of the court and is occupied by two judges or referees that monitor the game, while another judge or referee remains inside the perimeter. The court is divided by a centerline which includes a circle at the center of the court. The outer wall of the barrier includes one or more video screens. Audience members can access a computer network to display images, text or video selected by them in real-time during gameplay. The ball used for the game has a surface texture provided by a plurality of square pebbles instead of rounded pebbles.
THROWING AND KICKING GAME FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PLAY
A throwing and/or kicking game is described, with a ball or projectile being thrown at a board having a plurality of voids cut therethrough. At least one of the voids may allow a player to gain yards, at least one void may allow a player to lose yards, and at least one void may allow a player to lose possession of the ball to a second player. Additionally, one or more throwing stations located at varying distances from the game board may be provided such that a throwing station farther from the game board allows a player to earn more yardage than a throwing station closer to the game board. A scorecard is also provided to track yardage gained, downs, score, possessions, and quarters of the game.
PORTABLE OUTDOOR GAME KIT
Disclosed herein is a portable outdoor game kit that includes (a) a portable carrying case; (b) a boundary configured to be positioned on a ground surface and formed into a predetermined shape; (c) a plurality of targets configured to be positioned within the boundary when the boundary is positioned on the ground surface and formed into the predetermined shape; (d) a plurality of offensive implements configured for throwing towards and/or into at least one of the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use; and (e) a plurality of blocking implements configured to block or impede movement of the offensive implements towards the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use. Also disclosed herein is a method of playing a game with the disclosed portable outdoor game kit.
CORNHOLE PLAYING COURT
A cornhole court including a floor and spaced-apart board registration features printed and/or connected to the floor for providing spacing and alignment (and optionally removable engagement of cornhole boards to the floor) at a preconfigured spacing. In some examples, the spacing between front ends of the boards is about 27 feet. In example embodiments, a plurality of indicia may be provided on the floor of the cornhole court, for example, which can be for advertising, branding, promotional, sponsorship or other business opportunities. Other embodiments include a board-mounted module for communicating with a board-mounted module of an opposing board, and for example, for communicating with at least one electronic device.
Gaming system
The disclosure herein is directed to a gaming system that comprises a game board, a field position indicator, a line of scrimmage stick, projectiles, and a method of play involving these components. The game board can be configured to hinge at a location that is conducive for storage.
Interchangeable gameboards
A cornhole game board providing an interchangeable faceplate display is provided. The game board includes a framework having a plurality of peripheral elements defining an opening into which a faceplate may be inserted. Each peripheral element may define a portion of a coplanar slot extending along the game board framework, wherein one of a plurality of faceplates may be slidably received or removed in the resulting coplanar slot. Thereby the game board provides a variety of interchangeable playing surfaces of cornhole.
Golf Game Umbrella Apparatus
An apparatus 10 comprises a shaft 12; an openable and closable canopy 14; and a plurality of upwardly extending holding chambers 16 on an underside 18 of the canopy 14. The apparatus 10 is thought to be particularly useful as a golf chipping game, with golf balls being chipped into the holding chambers as target practice.
Elevated yard game
Embodiments described herein relate to a system which includes a first vertical support, a second vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, a third vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, and a fourth vertical support parallel to the first vertical support, a first, second, third, and fourth elevation couplers releasably attachable proximate an end of the corresponding vertical supports, a first, second, third, and fourth outer horizontal members releasably coupleable to extend between the elevation couplers perpendicular to the vertical supports, and first and second inner horizontal member extending between the outer horizontal members to be oriented substantially perpendicular to the vertical supports and overlap each other to form an elevated grid suitable for a game.
