HEAT PROTECTIVE DEVICE
A heat protective device includes a sheet having a first edge opposite a second edge. The sheet is comprised of a plurality of intertwined links that are movable with respect to each other. A strip is positioned between the first edge of the sheet and the second edge of the sheet. A fastener couples the first edge of the sheet and the second edge of the sheet to the strip to form a tubular shape. The fastener is configured to adjust a diameter of the tubular shape to releasably fix the heat protective device about an object. A method for manufacturing a heat protective device is also disclosed.
SUPPRESSOR DESIGN
An improved design for a suppressor which suppresses sound from a gun report as well as reduces heat transference therefrom.

HANDGUARD FOR CLAMPING MOUNTING ON AN EXISTING FIREARM
A handguard for mounting on a firearm with a housing axis, including: a housing with a slit and with a clamping device including a lever with a center element which lies in a normal plane to the housing axis in a through-opening. It has a recess in its central region, a thread at one end, a lever arm at the other end, and a nut with an internal thread. According to the invention, the center element has a conical nut section. In the assembled state, a nut is screwed onto the thread and thus the center element is arranged in an annular groove of the travelling nut so as to make contact with the center element.
FIREARM BARREL ASSEMBLY
A firearm barrel assembly having a barrel tube and an outer sleeve. A sleeve nut is threaded on the barrel tube to retain the outer sleeve on the sleeve nut and to tension the barrel tube.

Adapter for mounting an accessory on a firearm
Adapters for mounting an accessory on a firearm, firearm accessories configured to mount to those adapters, and sheath or handguard assemblies of firearms are disclosed. The recited accessory adapter is substantially annular or tubular in shape, and includes at least two portions that are arranged adjacently along the barrel axis of the firearm. A rear portion is formed on the weapon side of the adapter, so that the rear portion is geometrically complementary to the front end of a firearm sheath, at least in part, and a front portion of the adapter includes a cylindrical coupling surface on the outside for coupling of the accessory, where the coupling surface includes at least one bayonet extension that projects radially outwards.
Carbon fiber barrel sleeve resiliently bonded to steel liner and method of construction
A method for forming and a carbon fiber barrel sleeve resiliently bonded to steel liner includes providing a rifle barrel having thickened walls and a mandrel blank. Each of the barrel and blank are turned to form a barrel liner and a mandrel, respectively, such that each has a substantially identical contour. The barrel liner is stress relieved to eliminate stresses within the molecular structure of the barrel liner. A plurality of flutes are cut into an exterior surface of the barrel liner; the depth of each flute being at least equal to the depth of the flute. A plurality of layers of carbon fiber fabric are laid up on the mandrel to form a sheath which is cured and bonded to the barrel liner with a continuous bond of high temperature adhesive at tips of the fins. The bonded sheath and barrel liner forming a rifle barrel.
