HAPTIC SYSTEM FOR A FIREARM SIMULATOR
20230400277 · 2023-12-14 ·

A haptic effect system for generating haptic effects includes components that are configured to be mounted to an actual firearm. Elements of the haptic effect system are configured to occupy at least a part of the space that would otherwise be occupied by elements of the actual firearm. The haptic effect system converts an actual firearm capable of firing live ammunition into a firearm simulator. The haptic effect system generates haptic effects that cause a user holding the firearm to feel forces that mimic or simulate what a user would feel when performing various actions with the firearm. The haptic effect system can cause a user to feel forces that simulate what a user would normally feel when cocking the firearm, pulling a trigger of the firearm and/or shooting the firearm.

Recoil exerciser

An electric winch provides motive force, allowing the cannon to be pulled out of battery and returned to battery in a safe and controlled manner. After the system is attached to the large caliber weapon system, the operator can stand a safe distance away and control the complete operation with a remote. The recoil exerciser can be quickly attached to any large caliber weapon system via hooks and a wear-resistant sling.

AUTO-LOADING HAMMER-TYPE FIREARM WITH SELECTABLE LIVE FIRE AND TRAINING MODES
20210148667 · 2021-05-20 ·

An auto-loading firearm having a system for switching between live fire and training modes via a selector switch mounted either on the firearm or on a specially designed training attachment. An action arm is selectively movable in response to movement of the selector switch between a live fire position, in which the firearm is free to operate as normal, and a training mode position where the action arm interrupts operation of the hammer and prevents the firearm from discharging while allowing the trigger and, if present, trigger spring to continue operating.

NON-LETHAL GAS OPERATED GUN

A pre-pack assembly for use with an air gun that fires non-lethal projectiles and for use with a magazine that is removably insertable into the air gun, the pre-pack assembly includes a pre-pack that contains non-lethal projectiles, where inserting the pre-pack into a chamber of the magazine positions the non-lethal projectiles in a feeder that individually feeds non-lethal projectiles into the air gun when the magazine is inserted into the air gun.
