AMBIDEXTROUS FIREARM CONTROLS
Various embodiments are directed to ambidextrous firearm controls, including an ambidextrous bolt control assembly and/or ambidextrous magazine release and associated methods. The ambidextrous bolt control assembly may include a bolt catch configured to hingedly connect to a firearm to rotate between a disengaged position and an engaged position, the bolt catch may include a first bolt catch engagement button operable from a first side of the firearm and a first bolt catch release button operable from the first side of the firearm; an ambidextrous bolt catch engagement button operable from a second side of the firearm; and an ambidextrous bolt catch release button operable from the second side of the firearm; wherein the ambidextrous bolt catch engagement button and the ambidextrous bolt catch release button may each be separately movable relative to the firearm. The ambidextrous bolt catch assembly may further include an ambidextrous magazine release assembly.

A rifle having a central weapon plane, comprising a barrel that has a barrel bore axis, a gas drive, a bolt carrier, a recoil spring unit and a charging handle unit arranged in front of the bolt carrier, wherein the charging handle unit comprises at least one handle, which is mounted on a slider element for rotation about pivot pins and is forcibly displaced about a pivot pin into its rest position by at least one handle spring, and the slider element is mounted in a carriage which is arranged axially in front of the bolt carrier and is movable in the axial direction. The rifle is characterized in that the at least one handle comprises an elongate hole for receiving the pivot pins and for the support by said pins.
CARBINE HAVING A CHARGING HANDLE
A rifle having a central weapon plane, comprising a barrel that has a barrel bore axis, a gas drive, a bolt carrier, a recoil spring unit and a charging handle unit arranged in front of the bolt carrier, wherein the charging handle unit comprises at least one handle, which is mounted on a slider element for rotation about pivot pins and is forcibly displaced about a pivot pin into its rest position by at least one handle spring, and the slider element is mounted in a carriage which is arranged axially in front of the bolt carrier and is movable in the axial direction. The rifle is characterized in that the at least one handle comprises an elongate hole for receiving the pivot pins and for the support by said pins.
Modular stock for a firearm
A modular stock for a firearm includes a foremost stock, an intermediate stock part and a buttstock. A butt plate is mounted to the buttstock through a first adjustment device. A cheek piece is mounted to the buttstock through a second adjustment device. The first adjustment device includes a first locking and releasing button. The first locking and releasing button is bilaterally operable.
Foldable firearm
The present disclosure describes a foldable firearm that collapses into a folded state under spring pressure. The foldable firearm may include a foldable grip assembly. The foldable grip assembly may include a foldable pistol grip, a foldable trigger assembly, a folding bar, and a foldable hand stop. The foldable grip assembly may fold into the top shell of the foldable firearm. The foldable firearm may also include an ambidextrous charging handle assembly that may include a bottom portion, a top portion, a guide bar, and two opposing charging handles. The charging handles may be pulled to unfold the foldable firearm, and/or butterflied such that pivoting one charging handle causes the other charging handle to pivot. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled rearwards to unfold the firearm. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled further rearwards to rack the slide of the foldable firearm.
Foldable firearm
The present disclosure describes a foldable firearm that collapses into a folded state under spring pressure. The foldable firearm may include a foldable grip assembly. The foldable grip assembly may include a foldable pistol grip, a foldable trigger assembly, a folding bar, and a foldable hand stop. The foldable grip assembly may fold into the top shell of the foldable firearm. The foldable firearm may also include an ambidextrous charging handle assembly that may include a bottom portion, a top portion, a guide bar, and two opposing charging handles. The charging handles may be pulled to unfold the foldable firearm, and/or butterflied such that pivoting one charging handle causes the other charging handle to pivot. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled rearwards to unfold the firearm. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled further rearwards to rack the slide of the foldable firearm.
Charging handle assembly
The charging handle assembly uses a magnetic latching mechanism to replace the spring loaded latch mechanism common on conventional M16/AR-15 style weapons. The magnetic latching mechanism consists of magnetically attracting plugs mounted to or within the upper receiver and the charging handle. The magnetic attraction between the adjacent plugs provides the locking force to secure the charging handle in the closed position while still allowing the user to manually pull the handle to the open position when necessary.
