An archery quiver includes upper and lower quiver assemblies. Each quiver assembly includes corresponding arrow retainer and mounting assembly connecting the arrow retainer to the riser. The arrow retainers retain the arrows stored in the quiver. Each quiver assembly holds its corresponding arrow retainer substantially rigidly attached to the riser in a position adjustable over different longitudinal positions, different transverse positions, or both. One or both arrow retainers can be adjustable over different vertical positions. The upper and lower arrow retainer positions can be adjustable independently of one another. The upper and lower quiver assemblies can comprise separate assemblies that are attached independently to the riser at distinct corresponding locations on the riser.

A stock includes a first end that has a stock mounting interface that is configured to mate with a like interface of a weapon. The first end has a quiver mounting feature configured to attach to a quiver. The stock includes a second end that has a quiver pocket defined therein to at least partially receive a portion of a quiver therein. The quiver pocket has at least one quiver grip positioned therein.

A modular quiver system and method of use may include, first, a base portion configured to be attachable to a bow and configured to removably hold a first arrow, and second, a detachable portion configured to removably hold a plurality of second arrows and configured to be removably attachable with the base portion by hand without the use of any tools, regardless whether or not the base portion is attached to the bow, and regardless whether arrows are in the quiver. A quick-release bracket system allows the modular quiver system to be removed from and attached with a bow in different predetermined positions without the use of any tools.

A crossbow including a center rail including a rail body and a riser, a first flexible limb coupled to the riser, a second flexible limb coupled to the riser, and a first cam mounted to the first flexible limb and rotatable around a first cam axis. A compound bow includes a riser having a left face, a right face, and a rear face between the left face and the right face. A mounting bore extends through the rear face. The mounting bore is spaced from the left face and the right face. A quiver has a rod that is releasably engaged to the riser in the mounting bore. The quiver has a base and a hood supported by the base. The base is supported on the riser by the rod.

A crossbow including a center rail including a rail body and a riser, a first flexible limb coupled to the riser, a second flexible limb coupled to the riser, and a first cam mounted to the first flexible limb and rotatable around a first cam axis, and including a first draw string journal defining a first draw string plane of rotation perpendicular to the first cam axis, and a first power cable take-up journal extending in a direction perpendicular to the first draw string plane of rotation. The crossbow including a second cam mounted to the second flexible limb and rotatable around a second cam axis. A reduced length crossbow with a trigger located near a midpoint of the crossbow and a small included angle of the draw string when in the drawing configuration that creates a space between the draw string and the user's face. The included angle of the draw string when in the drawing configuration may be less than about 25 degrees. The trigger is typically located proximate the midpoint within about 10% of the overall length of the crossbow.

wherein the holding means (3) is formed by a shaft (30) extending from the first landing area (4) at least partially through the first positioning means (1) up to a shaft end (31) facing away from the first landing area (4), wherein the shaft (30) is provided with a limitation reference means (8) to define a limitation for the tip of the barrel when it is inserted in the shaft (30).
