A collapsible quiver (2) has an outer tube (4) and an inner tube (6). When extended the inner end (24) of the inner tube (4) engages the inner surface of the outer tube (6) so there is substantially no discontinuity of the inner surface defined by the first and second tubular members.

Crossbow
10126088 · 2018-11-13 · ·

A crossbow including first and second flexible limbs are attached to a center rail. A draw string extends across the center rail that translates between a released configuration and a drawn configuration. A string carrier including a catch is movable between a closed position that engages the draw string and an open position that releases the draw string. The string carrier slides along the center rail to engage with the draw string in the released configuration and slides to a retracted position that locates the draw string in the drawn configuration. A retaining mechanism retains the string carrier in the retracted position and the draw string in the drawn configuration. A trigger moves the catch from the closed position to the open position to fire the crossbow when the string carrier is in the retracted position.

MODULAR QUIVER SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE

Modular quiver systems and methods of use may include, first, a base portion configured to be attachable to a bow and configured to removably hold a first arrow, and second, a detachable portion configured to removably hold a plurality of second arrows and configured to be removably attachable with the base portion by hand without the use of any tools, regardless whether or not the base portion is attached to the bow, and regardless whether arrows are in the quiver. Quick-release bracket systems allow the modular quiver systems to be removed from and attached with a bow in different predetermined positions without the use of any tools.

Torque control system for cocking a crossbow
10082359 · 2018-09-25 · ·

A torque control system for cocking a crossbow. A cocking mechanism includes a rotating member mounted to the center rail and coupled to a flexible tension member attached to a string carrier. A cocking handle is configured to engage with the rotating member to cock the crossbow. A torque control mechanism limits output torque applied to the rotating member such that rotating the cocking handle after the string carrier is in the retracted position does not move the draw string past the drawn configuration.

Cocking system for a crossbow
10077965 · 2018-09-18 · ·

A cocking system for a crossbow. A string carrier slides along the center rail during movement with the draw string in the released configuration to a retracted position that locates the draw string in the drawn configuration. A trigger is positioned to move the catch from the closed position and the open position to fire the crossbow when the string carrier is in the retracted position. At least one cocking rope is configured to engage with the string carrier to retract the string carrier and the draw string to the drawn configuration. A retaining mechanism retains the string carrier in the retracted position and the draw string in the drawn configuration independent of the cocking ropes.

Archery bow floatation device

A floatation device for an archery bow is disclosed. The floatation device has a buoyant member defined by a top, a bottom, and one or more sides wherein the bottom is arranged to meet an arch of an archery bow limb. A securing mechanism arranged to secure the buoyant member on the bow limb is provided in such a way that the buoyant member is in contact with the bow limb. An aquatic archery bow having a floatation device thereon is also disclosed.

PORTABLE STORAGE UNIT WITH INTEGRATED MOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

A portable storage unit includes an integrated mounting system and a rugged, weatherproof design that facilitates transport. The rigid main body of the storage unit includes a bottom cover having a bottom surface with a recessed central region positioned between adjacent side regions that extends between top and bottom surfaces of the main body and facilitates mounting the storage unit to a tree or other mounting structure. A top cover has a lip that extends over an edge of the bottom cover and a gasket creates an airtight and watertight seal therebetween. At least one hinge couples the rigid top cover to the rigid bottom cover and an anchoring member coupled to a top surface of the main body. Accessory panels provide attachment points for storage on exterior and interior surfaces of the storage unit.

String guide for a bow
09879936 · 2018-01-30 · ·

A string guide for a bow including first and second cams are mounted to first and second bow limbs, respectively. Each of the cams includes a string guide journal, an upper power cable take-up journal, and a lower power cable take-up journal. The draw string is arranged in a reverse draw configuration. The upper and lower power cables are received in each of the respective upper and lower power cable take-up journals and are displaced away from the respective draw string journals as the bow is drawn from the released configuration to the drawn configuration. In one embodiment, the upper and lower power cable take-up journals are helical in configuration. As a result of this configuration the cams can rotate more than 270 degrees, and preferably more than 300 degrees, as the bow is drawn from the released configuration to the drawn configuration.

Detachable quiver assembly for archery bows
09651330 · 2017-05-16 · ·

A quiver assembly for detachable connection to an archery bow includes first and second releasable locking members connectable to an archery bow and a quiver. The first locking member has an elongate base with a dovetail-shaped projection. The second locking member has a dovetail-shaped groove for receiving the projection of the first locking member. Concave depressions are formed on each side of the projection. A locking lever is pivotally connected to the second locking member and includes a lever portion for manipulation by a user and a cam portion with a cam surface that engages one of the depressions when the first and second releasable locking members are connected together. The quiver assembly also includes a hood with an insert having a brightly colored surface to thereby illuminate the hollow interior under ambient light conditions without the need for artificial light.

BOW STABILIZER ASSEMBLY
20170089661 · 2017-03-30 ·

A stabilizer assembly for an archery bow with a pair of keyed socket fittings frictionally secured within each side of a tube, and at least one pliable connector, which includes a keyed opening correspondingly shaped to the keyed socket fittings, frictionally connected to one of the keyed socket fittings. Each pliable connector includes a fastener secured within an opening formed in the connector, enabling the connector to be removably attached to a weight or to an archery bow. In a first embodiment stabilizer assembly, a pliable connector is connected to each one of the pair of keyed socket fittings and a weight is removably attached to the fastener of one of the pliable connectors. In a second embodiment stabilizer assembly, a weight with a keyed opening corresponding to one of the pair of keyed socket fittings is frictionally connected to the socket fitting.
