SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FILTERING MESSAGES
A recording system may use the information stored in a list to determine whether to receive and/or respond to messages transmitted by notice systems. The source of the information for the list includes a server and/or the recording system itself. A server that provides the list may use data provided by an agency to determine a relationship between a people, recording devices and notice systems. The associations between people, recording devices and notice devices may be used to determine what information is in the list. A recording device that forms the list may receive messages from any notice system, detect the session identifier, store the session identifiers from received messages, and receive and/or respond to messages in accordance with the list formed by the recording system.
EXPANDABLE TELESCOPIC BATON
The expandable telescopic baton (1) consists of the handle (2), the central tube (5) with secondary locking member, of the end tube (6) with terminal locking member, of the button (4) and of the release rod (8). The locking member comprises at least two lever segments of the first order (9, 9), whose first tilting arms (11) bear the radial projections (10) securing the tubes (5, 6) in the extended position, the second tilting arms (12) extend inside the tubes (5, 6), and the tilting means comprising the tilting edge (15) ensures the tilting of the segments (9, 9) against the inner wall of the tube (5, 6). The release rod (8) passing through the locking tilts over the segments (9, 9), thus extending radial projections (10) from the internal radial grooves (7, 7).
Weapon
An extendable, telescoping multi-purpose baton that holds one or more tools in such a way that a user can use the baton and another tool at the same time while at least one hand remains free. The baton is extended by a propulsion mechanism permitting controlled speed and force of extension. The telescoping mechanism may be electrically or pneumatically operated and can be extended with sufficient speed and force to deliver a blow or jab when impacting the target, at a distant significantly longer than the user's arm length, permitting use from a safe distance.

A self-defense apparatus includes a sleeve portion, an adapter portion connected to the sleeve portion, and a weapon. The sleeve portion includes one of a fastener or a fastener-receiving passage. The sleeve portion includes a proximal sleeve portion, a distal sleeve portion, a proximal end surface, an outer side surface, and a distal end surface. The sleeve portion defines an implement-receiving cavity that extends axially into the proximal end surface. The proximal end surface and a proximal portion of the outer side surface define a handle portion of the sleeve portion. The distal end surface and a distal portion of the outer side surface define a distal sleeve portion having an adapter-interfacing body of the sleeve portion. The adapter portion includes the other of the fastener and the fastener-receiving passage. The adapter portion defines an adapter body. The weapon is defined by the adapter body and the adapter-interfacing body.

Mechanical tonfa with spring-loaded swiveling and locking system
A mechanical tonfa with a spring-loaded swiveling and locking mechanism. The tonfa includes a main bar with a perpendicular handle. The handle includes a button that engages a spring-loaded locking bar within the handle. The portion of the main bar that connects to the handle includes a circular groove that fits over a circular protrusion on the handle. The main bar also includes an aforementioned plurality of notches, enabling the main bar to lock in multiple positions. When the button is pressed, the locking bar is moved such that it is removed from one of the notches, enabling the main bar to swivel relative to the handle. When the button is released, the force of the spring causes the locking bar to return to its original position, causing the main tonfa bar to lock in one of multiple positions depending on the positions of the plurality of notches.

Paddle for discipline with pivoting handle and related methods
A paddle is for corporal discipline. The paddle includes a handle, and a paddle portion having a base, and an elongate flat member extending from the base. The elongate flat member is to be used for striking a subject to be disciplined in the corporal discipline. The paddle also includes a hinge device comprising a first arm coupled to the handle, a second arm coupled to the base, a pivoting hinge coupled between the first arm and the second arm and configured to switch the paddle portion between a locked state where the paddle portion and the handle are substantially parallel and a folded state where the paddle portion and the handle freely move, and a settable feature. The settable feature selectively changes a threshold pivoting force of the pivoting hinge for causing the paddle portion to switch from the locked state to the folded state.
