CROSSBOW WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BUTTSTOCK
A crossbow may include a buttstock assembly including at least two buttstocks that may alternatively be attached to a main beam. In some embodiments, one or more buttstocks may be attached at more than one location on crossbow main beam. In some embodiments, one or more buttstocks may have shoulder engaging surfaces that can be adjusted to more than one location with respect to the buttstock frame.
Firearm buffers as well as methods of assembling same
A firearm buffer includes a buffer casing having a casing chamber with open and closed ends, and buffer weight within the casing chamber. A buffer plug is received in the open end of the buffer casing. A cross pin extends through at least a portion of the buffer plug retaining the buffer plug on the buffer casing. A locking pin is longitudinally displaceable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the locking pin is engaged with the cross pin and retains the cross pin in position with respect to the buffer plug. In the second position, the locking pin is disengaged from the cross pin such that the cross pin is removable from engagement with the buffer plug thereby permitting disassembly of the firearm buffer. A method of assembling a firearm buffer is also included.
Adjustable, pivoting rifle stock and method of use
An adjustable shoulder rest for a rear stock for a rifle or shotgun, with slidable adjustment features at the butt plate to customize the shoulder to firearm interface, providing diverse adjustment options pursuant to user preference and/or circumstances of use. The present invention further provides a pivotal, slidably-adjustable shoulder rest to facilitate customized position adjustment to the firearms orientation vis-a-vis the operator, including the option to provide a swivel connection for adjustment of the firearm during operation, even allowing the user to employ various diverse sights mounted to the firearm for user selection via pivoting the firearm, while maintaining undisturbed engagement of the shoulder rest to the shoulder of the user.

Firearm having reciprocable breech cover
A bullpup shotgun which ejects shells from the bottom of its action has a reciprocable cover which, when in a closed position, overlies the breech end of the shotgun's barrel. When in an open position, the cover is in spaced relation to the barrel breech end, allowing access to the shotgun's action to clear an ammunition feed malfunction. The cover is mounted on a butt stock, and the butt stock may be movable relatively to the shotgun's receiver to effect motion of the cover between the open and closed positions.

Folding stock assembly with locking mechanism
A hinge joint includes first and second hinge leaves pivotably mounted on a hinge pin, where the hinge joint is operable between open and closed positions. The hinge joint has a locking mechanism that prevents opening the hinge joint from a closed position until the locking mechanism is moved to the unlocked position. In one example, the locking mechanism includes a plunger retained in the hinge pin. When the plunger is depressed, one or more protrusions can move from a blocking position to a non-blocking position. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism must be moved to the unlocked position prior to opening the hinge joint. The locking mechanism may be used alone or in combination with engagement structures between the first and second hinge leaves. The hinge joint can be part of a folding rifle stock assembly or other hinged assembly.
