FIREARM TRIGGER GUARD INSERT AND GRIP
A firearm trigger guard insert and grip are disclosed. An example embodiment includes a firearm trigger guard insert and grip assembly comprising: a trigger guard insert having an upper surface conforming to at least a portion of an area defined by a firearm trigger guard, the trigger guard insert including a void through which a trigger can be inserted, the trigger guard insert reducing an exposed portion of the trigger, thereby lowering an action line of the firearm; and a grip having a horizontal surface at or above a collinear position relative to the action line created by the installed firearm trigger guard insert.
FIRE STARTER KIT FOR FIREARM
A fire starter kit configured to be stored in a firearm of an end user is provided. The firearm having a grip portion with a surface defining a longitudinally rearward cavity. The fire starter kit includes: a main body having an interior surface to form a storage compartment, the main body having an exterior surface; a scraper having a knife edge; a combustion rod having a base portion and a striker portion; a first fuel packet containing a fuel source therein, whereas the first fuel packet and the striker portion are contained within the storage compartment of the main body of the fire starter kit, and the main body from along the exterior surface is operably configured to be housed within the longitudinally rearward cavity of the grip portion of the firearm.
Method and apparatus for providing a module for firearm modification via an existing firing control unit
A firearm assembly, capable of firing bullets, includes a firearm assembly kit and a firing control unit (“FCU”). The FCU, in one embodiment, is disassembled from a handgun which is operable by one hand and capable of initiating firing a bullet when a trigger of the FCU is pulled. The firearm assembly kit is configured to house the FCU to form an operable firearm resembling a semiautomatic rifle operable by two hands. The kit includes a grip module and an extended firing slide (“EFS”). The grip module includes a handgrip, an FCU housing, a trigger guard, and a magazine port, wherein the trigger guard is situated between the handgrip and the magazine port which is located in front of the handgrip away from the user. The EFS facilitates firing of bullets from a magazine inserted in the magazine port via an extended firing pin.

AR-type rifle lower receiver with integrated grip
An AR-type rifle lower receiver comprises a lower portion having a supplemental opening or recess adjacent the rifle's trigger-guard opening for receiving the middle finger of the user's hand. In addition, a juxtaposed curved boundary surface spaced laterally and rearwardly with respect to the supplemental opening is provided to define a comfortable “grip” bearing surface for the area between the thumb and index finger of the user's hand when the user positions his/her index finger on the rifle's trigger.
Universal trigger locking system
Systems for universally locking a trigger of a firearm are provided that require authentication to transition the firearm to an unlocked state. In general, examples of the systems for universally locking a trigger of a firearm described herein are located in an interchangeable grip portion of the firearm or mounted to an accessory rail of the firearm. Embodiments of the system generally include trigger interference or blocking members to prevent actuation of the trigger until the authentication system has authorized the user to fire the firearm. Once the system is authenticated, embodiments of the system remain in an unlocked state while the user is grasping the firearm. When the user removes their hand from the firearm, embodiments of the trigger locking system automatically returns to a locked state, reducing or eliminating unauthorized use of the firearm.
