BUFFER TUBES
20220397357 · 2022-12-15 · ·

A buffer tube for a firearm can include a body defining an interior cavity for receiving a buffer spring, and a rail disposed on and/or formed from the outer surface of the body. The rail can include one or more pin holes configured to receive a pin of a stock to lock the stock in a position, and a trunk opening defined at an end of the rail forming a first rail sidewall and second rail sidewall configured to receive a trunk of an actuator. The first and/or second rail sidewalls can include a slot defined therethrough configured to receive a pin associated with the trunk of the actuator to linearly guide the actuator. The rail can include a slide bar channel defined through at least a portion of the rail and configured to allow a slide bar to slide therein relative to the one or more pin holes to urge a pin out of a respective pin hole and/or to block a pin from being received by the pin holes.

Pistol arm brace

A pistol arm brace is provided with a slide portion and a stabilizing structure extending from the slide portion. The slide portion is configured to connect with a receiver extension of a pistol. The stabilizing structure includes a spring-loaded clamping portion configured to secure the stabilizing structure to a user's forearm based on urging of one or more springs in the spring-loaded clamping portion.

Adjustable stock systems for firearms

An adjustable stock system for a firearm can include a buttstock slider configured to be slidably attached to the firearm for moving relative to the firearm between a collapsed position and at least one extended position. The buttstock slider can include a plurality of buttstock grooves defined therein. The system can include a lower stock assembly that is configured to mount to a firearm and a latch assembly disposed within the lower stock assembly. The latch assembly is configured to be moveable between a latched position where the buttstock slider cannot slide relative to the firearm and an unlatched position where the buttstock slider is free to slide relative to the firearm. The latch assembly can include at least one latch tooth configured to mate with the plurality of buttstock slider grooves when the latch assembly is in the latched position. The latch assembly is biased to the latched position. The system includes an actuator assembly configured to move the latch assembly between the latched position and the unlatched position.

Modular stock and method for a long gun
11573065 · 2023-02-07 · ·

A modular system for adjusting the length of pull and drop of a long gun. The modular system enables a combination of any one of a plurality of comb portions with any one or more of a plurality of butt pad spacers for a versatile and robust system that provides a wide range of comb height and length of pull combinations. The system can be implemented by the user, avoiding costly gun fitters. The system provides these aspects in a sleek, streamlined way that does not mar the appearance of the long gun. The spacers for the length of pull adjustment include registration surfaces that provide a three-dimensional interface with the buttstock and comb portion for enhanced strength and stability of the assembly over that of conventional fit adjustment systems.

FIREARM STOCK MOUNT ASSEMBLY

A stock mount assembly, which mounts a stock to a weapon, can include a base block including a longitudinal axis separating a first side and an opposing second side; a first lateral wedge opposing a second lateral wedge; a locking block slidably engaging the first lateral wedge and the second lateral wedge at a plurality of facets angled relative to one another; and a fastener aligned with the longitudinal axis. Rotation of the fastener can displace the locking block relative to the base block to urge the first lateral wedge and the second lateral wedge away from one another to forcibly engage first and second side surfaces of a cavity within the firearm to secure a stock to the firearm with the assembly. A related method of use is provided.

The invention provides improved modular gun stocks and their methods of manufacture. Advantageously, gun stocks of the invention require fewer parts than conventional gun stocks. The lower stock supports of the improved modular gun stocks can be removed and replaced in multiple ways so that a variety of gun stocks can be created as desired. The invention also eliminates the undesirable rattling noise that modular gun stocks often have after assembly.
