Firearm support system
A firearm support system includes a receiver body comprising an upper wall comprising a strap slot and a strap carried by a strap bar, the strap being configured for passage through the strap slot and the strap bar being configured to be received within the strap slot.
Apparatus for providing a sling mount point for a firearm
A device for use attaching to a long gun to provide an attaching point for a tactical sling. The device includes a mounting member configured for mounting the device to the long gun, and an attaching member configured for attaching the sling to the device. The device typically has an overall L-shaped configuration, with the mounting member and attaching member disposed at opposing ends with an extension arm therebetween. The length of the extension arm is configured so that when the device is mounted to the gun, the attaching member is disposed at a point along the major axis of the gun to cause the gun naturally to hang at an angle above vertical when hung from a sling attached to the attaching member. The angle is preferably around 45 degrees and may be any range within 0-45 degrees.
SLING RETENTION DEVICE FOR A BALLISTIC VEST
Disclosed and claimed here is a sling retention device for an object such as a gun worn over a body vest or ballistic vest. The device allows for the user to wear a sling across their body, while preventing the sling from making contact with the user's neck. The device consists of a base, an articulating hook, a spring and an attachment strap. The base is a rigid rectangle that lies flat on the user's shoulder and is attached to the vest by a strap that secures the device. The articulating hook is positioned with the open end facing away from the user's neck, and captures the sling between the hook and the base. When the sling is placed in the device, the device prevents the sling from making contact with the user's neck or head thereby reducing the discomfort to the user. The spring is designed to permit release of the articulating hook and allow rapid removal of the sling from the user's shoulder.
Swivel
A swivel has a main body, a longitudinal locking unit, and a lateral locking unit. The main body has a longitudinal axis, a lateral axis being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, an accommodating gap, a through hole, a threaded hole, and a receiving space. The accommodating gap is disposed between and communicates with the through hole and the threaded hole. The receiving space is disposed along the lateral axis and communicates with the through hole. The longitudinal locking unit has a shaft mounted through the through hole and screwed with the threaded hole. The lateral locking unit has a lateral locking component mounted in the receiving space and able to block the shaft to prevent the shaft from falling off from the accommodating gap. The swivel is capable of multiple locking manners to securely connect a belt and a heavy object.
Rapid adjust buckle with integral flexible pull loop
Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a rapid adjust buckle for a rifle sling. The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.
SINGLE POINT TACTICAL SLING AND HANDS FREE CARRYING DEVICE
Disclosed methods, systems, and apparatus provide multiple-position slings and hands-free carrying devices for equipment, hand guns, shoulder weapons, military-style tactical firearms, etc. Systems include adjustably attaching into a garment, a single-point sling with a slider strap and slider for repositioning a detachable lanyard, e.g. to attach a shoulder weapon. Methods for using systems for a single-point sling for a long gun, include holstering the gun supported by a loop of the lanyard detachably attached to the slider in a front-holstering position, e.g. at a user's secondary side under the arm. Embodiments include drawing the long gun forward, the loop of the lanyard supporting the long gun proximate a stock, grip or single-point receiver plate mount of the long gun, and shouldering the gun with the stock against a shoulder, the slider positioned at a shooting position of the slider strap of the single-point sling system.
Firearm Retaining Harness
A firearm retaining harness is described comprising a shoulder portion and a transverse member. The shoulder portion is worn around a shoulder of an operator, while the transverse member wraps around the operator's chest. The shoulder portion and the transverse member may be releasably coupled to one another for putting on and removing the harness. A coupling slidably engages the transverse member on a first side, while is releasably coupled to a firearm on a second side. Because the coupling is slidably coupled to the transverse member, an operator may quickly move the firearm between a storage, ready, and active position. Since the transverse member is elastic, it is pulled taught when in an active position such that positive pressure is provided to the operator. Such positive pressure may reduce an amount of recoil, as well as provide stabilization during discharge of the firearm and faster target acquisition.
Anti-slip strap
A shoulder strap pad has a generally rectangular/oval base and a plurality of nodules integral to the generally rectangular base. The generally rectangular/oval base has a top surface, a bottom surface and opposite ends. A soft pliable strip extends from the opposite ends when the shoulder strap pad is connected to the soft pliable strip. The nodules project outward from the bottom surface of the generally rectangular base and are arranged in spaced-apart relationship with respect to each other.
