Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a rapid adjust buckle for a rifle sling. The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.

There is a flap which can hinge open and closed. When the flap is in the closed position it is adjacent to an insert which has at least one pocket. The pocket can be used to house a call. The carrier can be wrapped about a bugle tube allowing a user to carry one or more calls to be used with the bugle tube.

The body may define a pair of elongated sling strap passages on opposite sides of the elongated bar.

The body may define a channel having a width larger than the first width and smaller than the second width. There may be an aperture adjacent to the channel.

This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods for the rapid deployment of a sling or strap on a rifle, firearm, tool, or implement from a storage mode to a deployment mode in a reliable and repeatable manner, while minimizing snagging, binding or tangling during storage or transport. In one exemplary system in accordance with the teachings of the present disclosure, a capture device may include a single closed loop interface adjacent to an open interface. A first strap may be looped through the closed interface and secured therein. Another portion of the sling system, such as a loop of strap or webbing may be secured by tensioning in the open interface to tightly secure the system against the rifle or tool in a secured position. By slightly loosening the loop, the secured portion can exit the open interface rapidly as the sling is deployed.
