Sight Post Camera for a Firearm
A firearm front sight post that is comprised of a camera assembly which captures an image or video, or a series of images or videos of what is in front of the firearm at the instant that the firearm is first fired, and at the instant that each and every subsequent shot is fired. The camera assembly is actuated by a actuation mechanism in communication with the trigger assembly of the firearm, and is activated when the trigger wall is met in the act of pulling the trigger of a firearm. The system is also comprised of a wireless transmitter that automatically sends the image/video from the camera assembly to a mobile application on a smartphone or other smart device, wherein the images/videos are encrypted, time-stamped and dated.

Weapon sight
An open sight for use on weapons such as handguns is introduced. The open sight features two rear aiming marks which are illuminated by an artificial light source mounted in the rear sight. A third aiming mark in the front sight is illuminated by a forward-facing light source also mounted in the rear sight. The front sight is dimensioned to substantially block the forward directed beam to reduce the visibility of the illumination forward of the weapon.

A translucent reflective hand gun front sight includes a rectangular top portion of acrylic, polycarbonate or other suitable plastic having a vertical rear wall, a vertical front wall, a reflective horizontal top wall, a top front wall radiused transition portion forming an internal rectangular solid sight bead to be placed on the target when viewed through the vertical rear wall. The rectangular portion also includes a vertical reflective right side wall and a vertical reflective left side wall. Below the side walls are reflective right and left side shoulders extending outwardly and downwardly from the side walls transitioning into reflective lower vertical side portions extending vertically and downward from the shoulders. A lower most mounting base to affix the front sight to the gun is also provided.

A translucent reflective hand gun front sight includes a rectangular top portion of acrylic, polycarbonate or other suitable plastic having a vertical rear wall, a vertical front wall, a reflective horizontal top wall, a top front wall radiused transition portion forming an internal rectangular solid sight bead to be placed on the target when viewed through the vertical rear wall.
