PRISM ASSEMBLIES AND OPTICAL DEVICES INCORPORATING PRISM ASSEMBLIES
20190072753 · 2019-03-07 ·

An optical device for viewing a scene or subject while, at the same time, digitally recording images corresponding to the scene or subject being viewed. The optical device includes a housing supporting an eyepiece, an objective optic, and a prism assembly. The prism assembly is located along an optical path between the objective optic and the eyepiece. The prism assembly comprises a first prism and a second prism. The prism assembly allows the user to digitally record images corresponding to a scene or subject being viewed by the user. Both still images and video images may be digitally recorded. The prism assembly inverts the light traveling along the optical path so that the orientation of the image being viewed is consistent with the actual orientation of the scene or subject. The prism assembly allows the optical device to be shorter and more compact for a given magnitude of magnification.

Device for use with a target viewing device

A device for use with a target viewing device comprising a collet comprising having a central opening defined by a first part and a second part. The second part is rotatably coupled to the first part such that the second part rotates relative to the first part. An attaching member fixedly couples the first part proximate to the target viewing device such that the central opening does not obstruct an image provided to and from the target viewing device. A mirror is pivotally coupled to a planar body so that the mirror may pivot about a hinge to position the mirror relative to the target viewing device to provide a reflection of an image provided by the target viewing device to the user when the device is positioned behind the target viewing device, and to provide a reflection of an image to the target viewing device when the device is positioned in front of the target viewing device.

Optical Sight with a Device for Indicating a Turn of a Rectifier and with a Zero Stop Function
20180347945 · 2018-12-06 ·

The invention relates to an optical sight with a device for indicating a turn of a rectifier and with a zero stop function, which comprises a longitudinal body (1), in which are mounted elements of the sight, which are coupled to at least one mechanism of the rectifier (2), which comprises a control element (20) to be used by the sight user for manual control, whereby the rectifier (2) is provided with a turn indicator (21) of the rectifier (2), which protrudes from the upper surface (200) of the rectifier (2) and which is coupled to a mechanism of turn identification of the rectifier (2). The indicator (21) comprises a longitudinal identification protrusion (210), which is by its length (L) located in a direction along the upper surface (200) of the rectifier (2) and which is rotatable about the axis OI, which is perpendicular to the length (L) of the longitudinal identification protrusion (210) and at the same time is parallel to the axis (OP) of rotation of the control element (20) of the rectifier (2), whereby the longitudinal identification protrusion (210) is rotatable about the axis OI between its basic position and its turned position, the longitudinal identification protrusion (210) being associated with a coding means (211), which is mounted on the upper surface (200) of the rectifier (2) and is located above the upper surface of the longitudinal identification protrusion (210).

GUIDE SYSTEM
20180252890 · 2018-09-06 ·

The invention relates to a guide system, in particular for guiding the linear focusing of an optical device such as binoculars or a telescopic sight. The guide system here includes a guide body and a slide member which is mounted displaceably relative to the guide body along a guide axis. A bearing element is provided for the displaceable mounting of the slide member along the guide axis. The bearing element is configured here to reduce a radial play, extending radially with respect to the guide axis, between the slide member and the guide body.
