Boresighting mechanism
11733001 · 2023-08-22 · ·

A boresighting mechanism for adjusting an armament of an aircraft. The mechanism includes a housing comprising a proximal end, a distal end, and an inner cavity. The mechanism further includes a jackscrew with a threaded portion disposed in the inner cavity and an unthreaded portion extending from the proximal end of the housing. The mechanism further includes a follower threadedly coupled to the jackscrew at a first end within the inner cavity and extending from the distal end of the housing. The follower is configured to be coupled to an adjustment feature of the armament at a second end. The mechanism further includes an adjustment knob coupled to the unthreaded portion of the jackscrew and configured to rotate the jackscrew to thereby cause linear motion of the follower. The linear motion allows for adjustment of the armament via the adjustment feature.

Compensating mechanism

A compensating mechanism includes a base, an adjusting unit, an adjusting cover and a stop unit. The adjusting unit is disposed in the base. The adjusting cover connects to the adjusting unit and includes a curved groove. The stop unit is disposed between the adjusting unit and the base and includes a pin. When the adjusting cover is rotated, the adjusting unit is only rotated with respect to the base and the stop unit is axially moved with respect to the base so that the pin enters or leaves the curved groove.

SIGHT ADJUSTER

The present disclosure provides a sight adjuster. The sight adjuster includes a frame, a horizontal clamping mechanism disposed on the frame, a vertical clamping mechanism disposed on the frame, and an adjusting mechanism disposed on the frame. The vertical clamping mechanism includes an upper fixing portion and a lower fixing portion. The lower fixing portion is disposed on a bottom portion of the frame. The lower fixing portion includes a lower driving piece, a support board and a bracket hinged to the support board. The lower driving piece drives the bracket to move along a vertical direction.

LEVEL INDICATOR FOR TELESCOPIC SIGHTS
20220018657 · 2022-01-20 ·

A level indicator for a telescopic sight can comprise a lower clamp member including a first end defining a threaded aperture and a second end defining a cylindrical head, and an upper clamp member including a first end defining an access hole and a second end defining a socket in which the cylindrical head is receivable. The upper clamp member is rotatable about the cylindrical head to form between the respective first ends of the clamp members a gap through which the telescopic sight is receivable into a space defined between the upper and lower clamp members. A level housing in which a level is received can extend from either clamp member. A single threaded fastener is receivable in the threaded aperture through the access hole to secure the upper clamp member to the lower clamp member around the telescopic sight.

A handguard assembly for attaching to a firearm is disclosed. The handguard assembly comprises an upper component, a lower component, a front cap, and a rear cap. The front cap and rear cap are secured within the lower component. The front cap and rear cap have curved top sides for supporting the barrel of the firearm. The lower component has slots in the sides to receive tabs from the sides of the upper component. When the upper component and lower component are attached to the firearm, the components work together to position the barrel in the preferred position so that the sights of the firearm are zeroed when the handguard assembly is attached to the firearm.
