TARGET SIGHT MOUNT
An accessory mounting system for securing an accessory to a firearm includes a slot in a first end of a receiving portion of the firearm, a tab protruding from one end of the accessory, the tab structured to mechanically engage with the slot, and a fastener structured to clamp a portion of the accessory to the receiving portion of the firearm in a location apart from the slot.
CAMERA MOUNT SYSTEM
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. The camera mount system can include, for example, a first optical element and a second optical element. Incoming light from a scope on a weapon, for example, is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the first optical element. The partially transmitted light passes through an eyepiece to a viewer (e.g., a shooter). The partially reflected light is reflected by the second optical element and is recorded by a recording device (e.g., a camera, a video recorder, an image sensor, etc.). The viewer has direct access to the scope optics, a spotting scope, or binoculars, for example, and the camera and the viewer have access to the same view.
Rear sight with interchangeable notch insert
A rear sight is provided for use on a firearm. The rear sight includes a changeable and removable rear sight notch insert. The rear sight further includes a rear sight blade having a cavity configured to receive the changeable, removable rear sight notch insert. The changeable, removable rear sight notch insert includes one or more tabs to facilitate insertion or removal of the rear sight notch insert into or out of the cavity. The rear sight notch inserts are variable in notch width, notch depth, and notch shape.
Method and system for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device
A method of aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least three reference points are superposed within a first target area with at least three diverging beams of the superposition device. Positions for at least three of the reference points are noted. A projectile is shot from the projectile device at a second target area, while the positions of the at least three reference points are maintained, to create the point of impact. The point of aim for the projectile device is adjusted to correspond with the point of impact while the positions of the at least three reference points are maintained. A system for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is also disclosed.
OPTICAL AIMING DEVICE
An optical aiming device that includes front and rear mounting rings having protrusions configured to engage grooves in a cylindrical body for alignment of the optical aiming device.
Firearm
Improved firearms including one or more of a removable and/or interchangeable top cover, an improved extractor mechanism, a striker safety mechanism with a direct trigger interface, a sear with direct striker interface, and/or a striker with integral striker spring retention features.
MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR MINI RED DOT SIGHTS
A mounting system for securing a viewing optic to a firearm utilizes an oblong dovetail connection component having a first end, a second end, and a contoured perimeter forming a dovetail profile. The viewing optic has a bottom surface comprising a mortise slot open at a first end to receive the oblong dovetail connection component and closed at a second end, the viewing optic further comprising a fastening area on a side of the viewing optic, the fastening area having a first securing structure. A fastening element having a second securing structure, wherein the first and second securing structures correspond to one another and facilitate securing the fastening element to the fastening area.
Firearm Sight Mount and Methods and Uses Thereof
The present specification discloses a sight mount used to attach or otherwise secure an optical sight to a firearm as well as methods of modifying a firearm to receive a sight mount disclosed herein.
Magnetic mount system
A magnetic mounting system is provided. The system includes a device having a magnetic attachment feature and a magnetic device mount. The magnetic device mount has a mating magnetic attachment feature. The magnetic attachment feature and mating magnetic attachment feature allow specific angular, radial, and/or longitudinal alignment of the device relative to the mount without a mechanical interface. An electronic device holder and charging system with integrated charging and data transfer interface and a self-aligning, magnetic coupling and docking interface with on-demand decoupling feature are also disclosed.
Systems, Devices, and/or Methods for Managing Firearm Assembly
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a pin insertion tool. The pin insertion tool can comprise a replaceable handle, a tool shaft coupleable to the replaceable handle, a pin insertion tool holder directly coupleable to the tool shaft, and a spring pin guide. The spring pin guide can comprise a base, a central portion, the central portion directly coupled to the base, and a tip directly coupled to the central portion.
