HUMAN POWERED BEVERAGE-MAKING APPARATUS
A human powered beverage-making apparatus powered by a user for providing an iced beverage includes a frame member, a hollow cylindrical wheel, an ice dispenser assembly, a conveyor assembly, and a beverage dispensing assembly. The frame member accommodates a hollow cylindrical wheel. The hollow cylindrical wheel is rotatably mounted on roller assemblies positioned on the frame member. The user rotates the hollow cylindrical wheel to generate a rotary drive. The ice dispenser assembly is attached to the frame member and positioned above a conveyor assembly. The ice dispenser assembly includes a drive plate rotatable by the rotary drive to dispense ice shavings into a container positioned on the conveyor assembly. The conveyor assembly is driven by multiple manual crank drives to convey a cup to the ice dispensing assembly, then to the compaction assembly, and then the filled container to a beverage dispensing assembly. The beverage dispensing assembly selectively dispenses one or more beverages into the filled container to provide the iced beverage.
NON MOTORIZED OMNI DIRECTIONAL WALKING SYSTEM DEVICE
A walking system structure, constituted by a walking dish formed in any one of a circular shape, a semi-circular shape, and a polygonal shape; multiple auxiliary balls constituted by multiple rolling balls on the surface of the walking dish and formed below the rotation ball so that the rolling ball smoothly rotates in all directions of 360 degrees; a ball fixing device fixing the auxiliary ball and the rolling ball not to be separated from predetermined positions while allowing the auxiliary ball and the rolling ball to rotate in all directions of 360 degrees; and a ball fixing table formed below the ball fixing device for joining the multiple ball fixing devices on the inclined surface at a predetermined interval to allow a user to walk in all direction of 360 degrees according to a virtual reality or walking motion image based on a stop surface.
Systems and Methods for Reducing Runaway Resistance on an Exercise Device
A treadmill may include a deck, a first pulley incorporated into the deck, a second pulley incorporated into the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, a motor in mechanical communication with at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley to move the tread belt in a first direction, and a runaway mitigation mechanism in at least indirect mechanical communication with the motor. The runaway mitigation mechanism at least mitigates a motor runaway condition.
LOCOMOTION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A locomotion system for use with a virtual environment technology includes a platform configured to support a user, a harness support assembly coupled to the platform and extending upwardly from the platform, and a safety harness configured to be worn by the user. The harness support assembly includes a support halo positioned above the platform and extending about a vertical central axis. The safety harness includes an interface structure moveably coupled to the support halo.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus including a frame, and a cushion adjacent to the frame having a surface. The exercise apparatus further includes a harness wearable by the user and a resistance member extending between the harness and the frame and where the tension within the resistance member is variable.
