Ballistic Vest
A protective garment includes a shell and an insert. The shell includes a front layer and a rear layer coupled to the front layer. The front layer and the rear layer form a void therebetween. The insert is disposed within the void. The insert includes a main body defining a first lateral side, a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, and a bottom edge extending between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The bottom edge defines a recess between the first lateral side and the second lateral side.
INSERTS HAVING BALLISTIC PROTECTION LAYER
An insert for structurally reinforcing a cavity of a structural member, wherein the insert includes a ballistic material to prevent penetration of the structural member by flying debris, fragmentation, or both.

An insert for structurally reinforcing a cavity of a structural member, wherein the insert includes a ballistic material to prevent penetration of the structural member by flying debris, fragmentation, or both.
Window Energy Management System with Enhanced Force Protection
A blast-resistant window attachment, or retrofit window insulation system, wherein panes of polymer film, such as TPU or ETFE, are held in a roll-formed stainless steel frame to form a pane assembly. One or more pane assemblies are stacked to make a multilayer unit or are mounted in a robust polymer casing that is sized to fit the window frames of an existing building window or to attach to the wall of the building surrounding the window. The polymer film or films can absorb energy of a blast without breaking provided that the collective thickness of the film(s) is at least 20 mil, and preferably 24 mil or more. The casing is, preferably made from a high strength polymer, such as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, or a metal such as stainless steel. In experiments conducted by the Army Corp of Engineers, the retrofit window insulation system of the present invention, when securely bolted to the structural components of the building around the window, demonstrates a remarkable ability of the polymer film panes to absorb blast energy and mitigate secondary debris hazards.
ADJUSTABLE STRETCH MOLLE CUMMERBUND RETENTION SYSTEM (ASMCRS)
An armor plate carrier cummerbund attachment mechanism that is stretchable, adjustable, and or removable. The attachment mechanism allows a plate carrier to be adjusted for size without interfering with the functionality of a MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load carrying Equipment) field.
PANEL ASSEMBLY, A PANEL, A MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD OF SECURING SAME TO A SURFACE
The present invention provides a panel comprising a protective plate which is adapted to be fitted to a vehicle body panel to cover the vehicle body panel. The protective plate includes a plurality of fasteners to releasably secure the protective plate to the vehicle body panel. Each fastener comprises a first fastening portion which is secured to the protective plate, and a second fastening portion which is secured to the surface of the vehicle's body panel. Upon securing the protective plate in place, the first fastening portion is biased away from the second fastening portion to retain the fastener in a locked position. The protective plate is adapted to remain fixed to the vehicle body panel when the vehicle is driven in either an on-road or off-road environment.
