In one embodiment, a safety trailer has semi-tractor hitches at both ends and a safety wall that is fixed to one side of the trailer. That side, however, can be changed to the right or left side of the road, depending on the end to which the truck attaches. A caboose can be attached at the end of the trailer opposite the tractor to provide additional lighting and impact protection. Optionally, the trailer can be equipped with overhead protection, lighting, ventilation, onboard hydraulics, compressors, generators and other equipment, as well as related fuel, water, storage and restroom facilities and other amenities.

BATTLE TANK WITH ARMORED OVERHEAD TURRET DESIGN

Described herein is a new design for a combat vehicle, such as a battle tank, that includes enhanced armor plating overhead of the passengers inside the vehicle. The enhanced armor may include thicker plating within a turret that is arranged over where one or more passengers are seated within a turret basket. In some respects, the plated region of the turret may also protect rear features such as an autoloader from frontal attacks. The armored turret region may have a thickness of at least 500 mm or may have a thickness that extends an entire height of the turret. One or more occupants of the combat vehicle may be seated within a turret basket beneath the turret, such that they are arranged beneath the armored turret region when seated and better protected from overhead attacks.

BATTLE TANK WITH ARMORED OVERHEAD TURRET DESIGN

Described herein is a new design for a combat vehicle, such as a battle tank, that includes enhanced armor plating overhead of the passengers inside the vehicle. A modular turret for an armored vehicle includes: an invariable and unique basic structural unit configured to be interchangeable, called a standard shell, equipped with interface means; and a plurality of interchangeable and removable functional modules and/or systems securable to the standard shell by specific fastening means distinctive from a connection of each functional module to the standard shell. The interface means allow an assembly of a set of different modules and/or systems of a same functional type on the standard shell at an interfacing zone on the latter. The standard shell includes an assembly of a plurality of plates with different shapes and sizes giving the standard shell a geometric shape with fixed dimensions. The plates have orifices and/or connectors for fastening the interchangeable and removable functional modules and/or systems. The plurality of plates includes a base metal sheet including a base of the standard shell.

AMMUNITION SUPPLY SYSTEM

An ammunition supply system includes a weapon mounted on an exterior of a fighting vehicle; a magazine loading unit mounted on the exterior of the fighting vehicle and configured to load a magazine for the weapon; a hatch unit configured to form an entrance to allow a combatant to enter and exit the fighting vehicle; and a hatch lifting unit configured to supply power to the hatch unit to move in a vertical direction with respect to the fighting vehicle. The hatch unit includes: a hatch door unit through which the combatant enters and exits the fighting vehicle, and a hatch passage part forming a passage for connecting the hatch door unit and an interior of the fighting vehicle. The hatch passage part includes a first opening facing the magazine loading unit so that the magazine is transferred from the interior of the fighting vehicle to the magazine loading unit without the combatant being exposed to the exterior of the fighting vehicle.
