In one embodiment, a safety trailer has semi-tractor hitches at both ends and a safety wall that is fixed to one side of the trailer. That side, however, can be changed to the right or left side of the road, depending on the end to which the truck attaches. A caboose can be attached at the end of the trailer opposite the tractor to provide additional lighting and impact protection. Optionally, the trailer can be equipped with overhead protection, lighting, ventilation, onboard hydraulics, compressors, generators and other equipment, as well as related fuel, water, storage and restroom facilities and other amenities.

Protective additional glazing systems, apparatus and methods for structural openings

Protective glazing systems, apparatus, and associated methods for the protection of structural openings against impacts from projectiles from any cause, including nature or man. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a substantially unbreakable and clear or opaque panel, which may be at least substantially the same size (length and width) as the visible glass being protected, and may be anchored to the original glazing via standoff and/or anchor elements. Another embodiment may comprise a substantially unbreakable, ballistic-tolerant panel cut slightly larger than the visible original glazing being protected, said panel being attached to the structural opening via standoff and/or anchor means.

A barrier system prevents entry through a structure and includes a first door positioned across an opening in the structure on a first side of the structure and a second door positioned across the opening on a second side of the structure. A protection fabric extends over the second door such that the protection fabric is between the first door and the second door, wherein the protection fabric comprises at least one attachment eyelet along at least one edge of the protection fabric to attach the protection fabric to the structure. The protection fabric has cables that terminate in a series of the eyelets. The eyelets attach to stanchions mounted on a foundation and dissipate the force of impact of a projectile hitting the structure along the protection fabric and the stanchions.

The systems and methods disclosed herein relate to shielding electronic devices with respect to, among other things, projectiles. In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a plurality of projectile-resistant panels corresponding to exterior surfaces of an electronic device. The apparatus wraps the electronic device, wherein each of the plurality of projectile-resistant panels covers a solid surface of the exterior surfaces of the electronic device and does not cover a perforated surface of the exterior surfaces of the electronic device. In further examples, the apparatus further comprises at least one fabric sheet forming a plurality of pockets in which to receive the plurality of projectile-resistant panels; and an articulation located between a pair of adjacent pockets of the plurality of pockets. The articulation facilitates the apparatus wrapping the electronic device by enabling rotation, relative to one another and about the articulation, between a first projectile-resistant panel and a second projectile-resistant panel.
