Vehicle security shields and related methods
Removable vehicle window security shield assemblies and related methods of use and/or installation. In some embodiments, an insert-shield assembly may comprise an insert-shield with or without a separate inner shield, one or both of which may comprise a ballistic-rated, transparent material. The assembly may be mounted in and/or to one or more existing windows or other openings of a vehicle. In some embodiments, an inner shield of the shield assembly may be removeable from the assembly. In some embodiments, the entire assembly or a portion thereof may be removed to allow an officer or other user to use the removed portion as a portable shield. The removed portion may be returned to the vehicle following use to enhance the protection of the vehicle. In some embodiments, a personal shield may be inserted into and held by a holster that is positioned within the window frame of a vehicle.

ELECTROMAGNETICALLY OPERATED PROTECTION MECHANISM, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A room protection mechanism for protecting access through a window or doorway includes a flexible barrier sheet adjustable between a collapsed, storage configuration, and a deployed configuration. The protection mechanism includes a housing storing the flexible barrier sheet in the collapsed configuration. Sheet magnetic elements are attached to the flexible barrier sheet, and structured to magnetically couple to frame magnetic elements mounted to a frame of the doorway or window. The protection mechanism can be deployed, such as in a school or other institutional setting, to position the flexible barrier sheet to block access through the doorway or window. The flexible barrier sheet may be formed of or include a ballistic material.

SIGHTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED VEHICLE
The vehicle delimits an interior space from an exterior space.
The sighting device includes: a support defining an interior volume, an optronic head adapted to rotate about an axis, an optical path comprising: a collecting optical unit for collecting a portion of the surroundings of exterior space, adapted to rotate about the axis; and an optical transport system including a plurality of optical components, portion of the components being, in the interior space and the other portion being in the interior volume; a drive means driving the optronic head and the collecting optical unit so that the ratio between the angle of rotation of the head and the angle of rotation of the collecting optical unit is substantially equal to 1.
Shield apparatuses having offensive and defensive structures
Ballistic shields having a convex configuration including a middle section and forward angled left side and right side wings. The shields may also include at least three manual or electro-mechanical roller units, transparent windows or display devices with cameras or other motions sensors, and spikes, electro-shock devices, or non-lethal incapacitating devices.
