The present invention relates to a fog-generating device comprising a reagent (1), ignition means (2), a reservoir (3) containing a fog-generating material (4), and a heat exchanger wherein gas generated by ignition of the reagent (1) drives fog-generating material from said reservoir to said heat exchanger. Further it relates to a removable housing for a fog-generating device comprising a reagent and a reservoir containing a fog-generating material, wherein in that said removable housing further comprises means to allow transmission of an ignition signal from said fog-generating device to said reagent. The invention further provides the use of said device and/or removable housing for the generation of fog, in particular to protect against intruders and physical treat by persons. In a particular embodiment, the fog-generating device of the present invention or the removable housing therefore comprises depressurizing means (18). Depressurizing means allow the escape of gas from the device so that the pressure inside the device is reduced and becomes closer to atmospheric pressure.

Embodiments described herein may provide an intelligent warning lamp that provides image recognition features using an image capture device and a target analysis device offering high-precision results. The target analysis device may perform facial recognition on a detected human in a surrounding image to obtain a facial feature, and match the obtained facial feature with features of a known target. For example, in a law enforcement application, the intelligent warning lamp may match facial features of people nearby a police car with a known criminal. If the match is found, a successful identification signal may be issued with information about the target. The intelligent warning lamp may include an automated deterrent system. The intelligent warning lamp may operate to determine a relative position of the target based on the image data, and may eject a deterrent in the direction of the target using the ejection driving device.

DETECTOR AND SPRAYING DEVICE PROVIDED WITH SAID DETECTOR

A detection device includes: a detector having an inherent detection area to detect entry of a detection target into the inherent detection area; a restrictor for restricting the inherent detection area to a specific set detection area; a body having a detector opening part; a detector fixer for fixing the detector; and a restrictor fixer whose position is fixed to the detector fixer and to which the restrictor is fixed, the restrictor fixer configured so that a relative position between the detector and the restrictor is fixed by fixing a position of the restrictor to the detector fixer via the restrictor fixer. The detector and the restrictor whose positions are thus fixed are assembled to the body so that a circumferential edge of the detector opening part is located outside the set detection area while the restriction of the inherent detection area by the restrictor is maintained.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MITIGATING UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR USING UNMANNED MOBILE MACHINES

Systems and methods for operating an Unmanned Mobile Machine (UMM). The methods comprise: detecting, by a Loss Prevention System (LPS), an unusual activity by at least one individual in a facility; communicating a signal from the loss prevention system to the UMM, in response to the detection of the unusual activity; transitioning an operational state of the UMM from a first state in which at least mitigation operations are disabled to a second state in which the mitigation operations are enabled, in response to the signal's reception at the UMM; and performing the mitigation operations by the UMM to visibly follow an individual associated with the unusual activity.
