GOLF SWING TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A golf swing training device attachable to a golfer's wrist. A rigid hand stop prevents the golfer's hand from bending beyond a pre-established distance or angle during a golf backswing. The rigid hand stop is configured and positioned to not interfere with, or restrict, the golfer's address of the golf ball or the early part of the backswing. The rigid hand stop allows desired movement of, and prevents undesired movement of, the golfer's rear hand (i.e., right hand for right-handed golfers and left hand for left-handed golfers) as the golfer moves from ball address through the backswing to the downswing to the impact position and finally the follow through. A wedge member may be integral with, or removably attachable to, the golf swing training device to maintain wrists of the user in a spaced relationship through a golf swing.
ATHLETIC SWING TRAINING DEVICE
An orthotic device having first and second support members, pivotally connected to each other, so as to prevent the angle between the first and second support members from forming an angle of less than 90 degrees relative to each other. The device is also configured to allow the first and second support members to freely pivot to any angle between 90 degrees and 270 degrees relative to each other. The orthotic device is adapted to be worn by an athlete in order to facilitate proper arm angle and swing path when swinging a baseball bat, softball bat, or any other similar athletic equipment.
Baseball and Softball Training Device
A correction and training tool to teach fundamentals of important actions and postures in baseball and softball games. To accomplish this, the device includes a shoulder strap, a wrist strap, and a detachable connecting link that connects the shoulder strap to the wrist strap. The connecting link may be made longer or shorter depending on the training goals. When worn on the glove arm of a user, the device restricts extension of the elbow of that arm while still giving room for slight motions, which makes it a great starter tool for young players who are just learning how to catch a baseball. The device helps improve fundamentals in pitching accuracy, catching, and fielding by not allowing the glove arm to fly open. Thus, the training device not only fundamentally helps reduce errors, but also improves accuracy in all fields.
APPARATUS FOR PADDLE SPORT TRAINING
An apparatus for paddle training. The training teaches the student to limit their wrist motion while swinging their paddle. The paddle training apparatus with a wrist cuff that surrounds the wrist and forearm of the student, a connecting member with a cuff attachment element. The cuff attachment element is removably attachable to the wrist cuff and the cuff attachment element removably receives the connecting member. A paddle attachment element fixedly attached to the other end of the connecting member and the paddle attachment element facilitates removable attachment of the connecting member to the paddle.
Wrist and elbow stabilizer for sports training
A golf training aid is described that stabilizes a wrist and an elbow of a golfer during a golf swing. The golf training aid includes a flexible sleeve and an elongated rigid insert. The flexible sleeve is configured to receive the wrist and the elbow of the golfer. The elongated rigid insert is secured to the flexible sleeve. The flexible sleeve keeps the rigid insert in contact with the wrist and the elbow of the golfer so as to prevent pivoting of the wrist and pivoting of the elbow.
Table tennis training apparatus
A training apparatus and method of use for guiding and improving the forehand, backhand and other strokes of a table tennis player by forcing the hand travel in the correct trajectory to strike the ball. The apparatus includes a waist and a chest belt, or a wide belt, to position a vertical rigid rod support to which the training guide is mounted. The training apparatus includes a plate that can be adjusted via a universal joint. There are two universal joints between the plate and the vertical rod support strapped to the player's torso. The position, orientation and the angle of the plate can be adjusted by the player via the two universal joints as required. The training apparatus improves the paddle stroke trajectory by guiding the hand such that the ball is returned to the opposing player bouncing off the table.
BASKETBALL SHOT TRAINING DEVICE
A training device for training a player to shoot a basketball. The device includes a plate member configured to engage at least a portion of a hand and wrist of a non-shooting hand of the player, at least one attachment member connected to the plate member and configured to secure the plate member to the non-shooting hand of the player, and a link strap connected at a first end to the plate member and having an aperture through which a wrist of a shooting hand of the player can be aligned. The non-shooting hand and the shooting hand are linked together such that the non-shooting hand is restricted from rotation relative to the shooting hand when the non-shooting hand and the shooting hand are placed in spaced relation on an associated basketball.
GOLF SWING AID APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A golf swing aid apparatus comprises a stretchable strap that pulls a golfer's trailing elbow downward towards his or her torso during a golf downswing. The stretchable strap continues pulling the golfer's trailing elbow towards his or her torso until he or she strikes the golf ball, and then releases so that the golfer is free to follow through without impairment from the stretchable strap.
TRAINING APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTACT SPORTS
A training apparatus, system and method for teaching proper athletic technique in contact sports. A first strap portion may be attached to a football helmet, and a second strap portion attached to shoulder pads. The apparatus provides feedback on the user's technique as tension is applied to the first and second strap portions, for example when the user attempts to lower their head during tackling or blocking, and causing detachment upon exceeding a threshold detachment force.
APPARATUS AND METHODOLOGY THAT FACILITATES MUSCLE MEMORY TRAINING FOR OPTIMAL LIMB SEPARATION
A training apparatus is disclosed, which includes a first strap configured to attach to a first limb, and a second strap configured to attach to a second limb. The training apparatus also includes a severable connector assembly coupled to the first strap on one end, and to the second strap on an opposite end. The severable connector assembly is reusable and configured to sever according to a threshold breakaway force. In a particular embodiment, the severable connector assembly is an injection design comprising a male component configured to mate with a female component, and further configured to sever from the female component according to a threshold breakaway force. In another embodiment, the severable connector assembly is a magnetic design comprising a first clasp configured to magnetically attach to a second clasp, and further configured to sever from the second clasp according to a threshold breakaway force.
