SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING WHETHER AN OBJECT HIT OR MISSED A TARGET
The subject matter discloses a method for estimating hit or miss of an object directed towards a target, comprising collecting an audio signal over time by an audio sensor located on, inside or near the target, said audio signal is defined by a set of frequencies, identifying changes in the set of frequencies over time, predicting a minimal distance between the object and the audio sensor based on the changes in set of frequencies over time, emitting an indication according to the minimal distance between the object and the audio sensor.

Blast wave detector
Embodiments of the invention include devices, systems and methods for operating a pressure wave detector. Embodiments include attaching a plurality of members and a ground plate to a substrate, and coupling the ground plate with the plurality of members attached to the substrate. Embodiments also include measuring a pressure wave by at least one of the plurality of members, converting the pressure wave into an electrical signal representing the pressure wave, and monitoring the pressure wave over a configurable period of time.
Impact indication system
An impact indication system for indicating an impact of a projectile on a target. The impact indication system includes an impact sensing system including a g-force sensor, a housing engagable with the target, and a first computing device including at least a processor and a memory. The impact indication system further includes a signal output unit including a housing, a signal output device, a second computing device including a processor and a memory, the first computing device operable to send a signal to the second computing device in response to sensing the impact, and the second computing device operable to produce a signal indicative of the impact.
System and method for detecting multiple fragments in a target missile
A system and method is provided for detecting the trajectory of multiple fragments through a conic or cylindrical section, such as the body of a missile. Three or more sensors are placed on the on the body of the object. Each of the sensors is constructed and arranged to measure signals to the sensor at from impacts on one or more locations on the body. The sensor then transmits a signal commiserate with the impact of a fragment thereon. A computer system is also provided to perform necessary calculations and, potentially, record the impact times and locations. When the body of the object is hit by fragments or shrapnel, a signal from one or more of the sensors is sent to the computer system. This operation is performed and constantly updated for all locations where a fragment is detected by one or more of the sensors. Waveforms of the impacts are recorded, but because multiple hits can occur, there can be superposition (or destruction) of the resulting waveform sent to the computer system. The computer system can interpret which superposition or destruction is indicative of another fragment strike, and filter out those additions or subtractions to the waveforms that could not possibly be from another fragment.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INDICATING WHETHER A TARGET HAS BEEN IMPACTED BY A PROJECTILE
Apparatuses, systems and methods for indicating whether a target has been impacted by a projectile are disclosed. Embodiments may include a microcontroller, an impact sensor, and an impact indicator. Apparatus may include an acoustic sensor and a miss indicator. Acoustic information or impact information may be received by the sensors and sent to the microcontroller unit. A determination may be made regarding whether the target has been impacted. An indication of a hit or a miss may be made by the impact indicator based on the determination. A light redirection element, which may include a light pipe, may direct light from the impact indicator around the edge of a target to a viewer.
