Bullet Impact Locator
20210231415 · 2021-07-29 ·

It is impossible to score the shots without target markings on metal targets. If target markings were on metal targets the markings would get destroyed with bullet strikes. Stickers with markings are used to see the score on metal targets. Placing stickers on metal targets are difficult to align. Stickers are expensive and get destroyed with bullets. The reusable Bullet Impact Locator is a tool used by marksmen. The Locator is a transparent plate with target markings. Aligning means on the Locator aligns the markings to the target. With bullet imprints on the target, place Locator in front contacting the target. The Locator positions the markings where metal targets should have markings. View through Locator to score the shots. After the score is determined, spray paint the target. Paint remains wet between each string of shots. A plurality of spacers prevents markings on Locator from getting stained with wet paint.

Ruggedized holder

A ruggedized holder has a base unit that accepts a roll of target media. The base unit includes a first side plate and a second side plate that opposes the first side plate. Moreover, a lower deflector plate having a front facing surface extends between the first side plate and the second side plate. Also, the base unit includes an upper deflector plate that extends between the first side plate and the second side plate above the lower deflector plate. The first side plate, the second side plate, the lower deflector plate and the upper deflector plate define an enclosure that protects the roll of target media. In addition, a stand can couple to the base unit.

GUN VIDEO CAMERA SYSTEM

A self-contained digitally tamper evident video camera system mounted on a tactile gun with a trigger guard and is housed in a universal tactile holster that records from the perspective of where the gun is pointed and utilizes a magnet to assist in automatically turning the video camera on and off with the capability to wirelessly transmit a recorded video.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide a camera mount system. The camera mount system can include, for example, a first optical element and a second optical element. Incoming light from a scope on a weapon, for example, is partially transmitted and partially reflected by the first optical element. The partially transmitted light passes through an eyepiece to a viewer (e.g., a shooter). The partially reflected light is reflected by the second optical element and is recorded by a recording device (e.g., a camera, a video recorder, an image sensor, etc.). The viewer has direct access to the scope optics, a spotting scope, or binoculars, for example, and the camera and the viewer have access to the same view.

DEVICE PERFORMING SIMULTANEOUS LOCALIZATION AND MAPPING
20210123712 · 2021-04-29 ·

A peripheral device that is used with a mixed reality system that is thrown by the user of the mixed reality system and captures scene and mapping data of the area the peripheral is thrown into. Upon capturing the scene and mapping data, the peripheral transmits the data (in some embodiments, including processed results of evaluation of the data) to the mixed reality system. The mixed reality system displays a visual representation of the scene and mapping data on a near eye display. In some embodiments, the visual representation appears in real space enabling an effect where the user of the mixed reality system can see through walls or other obstructions. In some embodiments, the peripheral is configured to detonate upon the satisfaction of a variable set of conditions.

A firearm front sight post that is comprised of a camera assembly which captures an image or video, or a series of images or videos of what is in front of the firearm at the instant that the firearm is first fired, and at the instant that each and every subsequent shot is fired. The camera assembly is actuated by a actuation mechanism in communication with the trigger assembly of the firearm, and is activated when the trigger wall is met in the act of pulling the trigger of a firearm. The system is also comprised of a wireless transmitter that automatically sends the image/video from the camera assembly to a mobile application on a smartphone or other smart device, wherein the images/videos are encrypted, time-stamped and dated.

An imaging device captured images of a scene that includes at least one shooter. Each shooter of the at least one shooter operates an associated firearm to discharge one or more projectile. A positioning mechanism positions an infrared filter in and out of a path between the imaging device and the scene. A processing system processes images of the scene when the infrared filter is positioned in the path to detect projectile discharges in response to each shooter of the at least one shooter firing the associated firearm. The processing system processes images of the scene captured when the infrared filter is positioned out of the path to identify, for each detected projectile discharge, a shooter of the at least one shooter that is associated with the detected projectile discharge.
