APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INDICATING WHETHER A TARGET HAS BEEN IMPACTED BY A PROJECTILE
Apparatuses, systems and methods for indicating whether a target has been impacted by a projectile are disclosed. Embodiments may include a microcontroller, an impact sensor, and an impact indicator. Apparatus may include an acoustic sensor and a miss indicator. Acoustic information or impact information may be received by the sensors and sent to the microcontroller unit. A determination may be made regarding whether the target has been impacted. An indication of a hit or a miss may be made by the impact indicator based on the determination. A light redirection element, which may include a light pipe, may direct light from the impact indicator around the edge of a target to a viewer.

Device for locating an impact against an interactive surface, corresponding facilities, method and computer program
A device for locating an impact against an interactive surface includes at least three transducers distributed against the interactive surface and an electronic central unit programmed to locate the impact by analysing propagation time differences of progressive mechanical waves from the impact to the transducers on the basis of instants of impact detection identified in the electrical signals supplied by the transducers. The electronic central unit is programmed to trigger an impact detection from a first instant when at least one M-th derivative from at least one of the received electrical signals exceeds a predetermined non-zero threshold value and for then determining, for each electrical signal received from each transducer, at least one second instant, subsequent to the first instant, of the first zero crossing of at least one N-th derivative of this electrical signal, from which is identified at least one instant of impact detection.
REAL-TIME SHOT DETECTION AND SCORING BASED ON TARGET IMAGE PROCESSING
An electronic target measurement system is disclosed such that the system includes image capture device(s), an access point device, and a user device. Each image capture device acquires a series of successive real-time images of at least one target with a plurality of regions of interest (ROIs). The access point device receives the images and transmits the images to a user device. The user device performs image preprocessing on the images, determines via an image differentiation process that a difference exists between the images, extracts the ROIs and locations of impact (LOIs) from the received image, and determines ROI center points, LOIs within the ROIs, and LOI center points. The user device also determines regional scores based on the distances between the ROI center points the LOI center points, and then a total score by adding the regional scores for the plurality of extracted ROIs.

Target practice device
The target device provides a strike detector attached to an adjustable neck for adjusting the position of the strike detector behind a target. A housing is mounted at a desired location and height. A retention body secures a target to the housing. The target may be a paper target or other target. The retention body can secure different targets to vary the shooter's practice and to change the look that each shooter experiences. The adjustable strike detector allows placement of the strike detector in different positions behind the target to define a customizable strike zone. Upon hitting the strike detector at least once, the target device takes an action to indicate that the strike detector has been hit, such as the retention body releasing the target. The target then falls from the housing. Such releasing of the target notifies the user that the user has struck the strike zone and the strike detector the desired number of times to neutralize the target.
