Bullet Impact Locator
20210231415 · 2021-07-29 ·

It is impossible to score the shots without target markings on metal targets. If target markings were on metal targets the markings would get destroyed with bullet strikes. Stickers with markings are used to see the score on metal targets. Placing stickers on metal targets are difficult to align. Stickers are expensive and get destroyed with bullets. The reusable Bullet Impact Locator is a tool used by marksmen. The Locator is a transparent plate with target markings. Aligning means on the Locator aligns the markings to the target. With bullet imprints on the target, place Locator in front contacting the target. The Locator positions the markings where metal targets should have markings. View through Locator to score the shots. After the score is determined, spray paint the target. Paint remains wet between each string of shots. A plurality of spacers prevents markings on Locator from getting stained with wet paint.

SHOOTING TARGET WITH AUDIBLE FEEDBACK
20210063123 · 2021-03-04 ·

The present teachings generally include devices, systems, and methods for shooting targets, and more particularly, to shooting targets that can provide audible feedback for a user. For example, a shooting target may include a plurality of plates, where different plates are structurally configured to resonate and create different sounds when struck by a projectile (e.g., a bullet from a firearm). In this manner, a user can discernvia a sound report heard by the userwhere a shooter has struck the shooting target. Further, one or more of the plurality of plates may mimic (e.g., through location and/or shape) anatomy of an animal. In this manner, a shooter can receive audible feedback regarding whether the shooter has struck certain anatomical areas that would likely disable an animal in a real-life, live-action, non-simulated scenario.

TARGET TRAINING SYSTEM WITH SIMULATED MUZZLE FLASH ELEMENTS

Target shooting systems and methods are disclosed herein for exposing shooters to simulated muzzle flashes and monitoring training using a computing device, software application, audio, video, an electrocardiogram (EKG), and wireless communications. The target shooting replicates the visual and audio experience of a muzzle flash thereby simulating live return fire as closely as possible while maintaining safety. The trainee has the ability to shoot live ammunition at a target that is simulating shooting back at the trainee. The EKG is able to measure heart rates over time and transfer the data to the software application on the computing device. The video camera can transfer recorded video data to the software application. Sensors on the target can transfer impact data to the software application so that hit/miss ratios can be calculated. Target systems can include metal targets or cardboard targets.

WEARABLE VEST WITH VESSEL AND OPTICAL SENSOR
20210215464 · 2021-07-15 ·

A wearable vest having an optical sensor is disclosed with a vessel configured to hold a selected liquid. A nozzle is connected to the vessel. The optical sensor is configured to receive an encoded optical signal from one or more of a plurality of optical signal sources. One or more processors coupled to the optical sensor are configured to determine information in the encoded signal, select a response based on the information, and send a signal to enable the selected liquid to be directed out of the vessel through the nozzle towards a wearer of the wearable vest for a selected period of time based on the selected response.

Firearm simulator targets and firearm simulation systems
10895435 · 2021-01-19 ·

Firearm simulator targets and firearm simulation systems are disclosed. A firearm simulator target includes a processor, a memory module, a plurality of light emitting diodes, and machine readable instructions stored in the memory module. When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions cause the firearm simulator target to illuminate a target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes such that the target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes are illuminated to display a target pattern. The target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes that are illuminated includes a first light emitting diode. When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions further cause the firearm simulator target to receive a signal from the first light emitting diode, and determine a target hit location at the first light emitting diode based on the signal received from the first light emitting diode.
