A system for projecting an image of a target is provided. In one embodiment, the system comprises a rail having a longitudinal axis; a target carrier coupled to the rail such that the target carrier can translate along the longitudinal axis of the rail; a motor and motion controller coupled to the target carrier wherein the motor is configured to cause the target carrier to translate along the longitudinal axis of the rail; a projector carrier coupled to the rail and held in fixed relational position to the target carrier; and a projector affixed to the projector carrier and oriented to point back towards the target carrier. In some embodiments, one or more cameras may also be added to the target carrier, projector carrier, or both.

A system for projecting an image of a target is provided. Various embodiments of systems for improving shooting performance, as well as, carriers configured for that purpose, are disclosed and described herein. In some such embodiments, such systems may comprise: at least one projector, at least one screen, at least one carrier, and at least one pathway. The at least one projector may project one or more images upon at least some portion of the at least one screen. The at least one screen may receive and display the one or more images. The at least one carrier may house the at least one projector; and in some embodiments, may also house at least one screen mount for removably mounting the at least one screen. The at least one carrier may travel along the at least one pathway. A shooter may aim and shoot a firearm at the one or more images displayed upon the at least one screen.

Various embodiments of systems for improving shooting performance, as well as, carriers configured for that purpose, are disclosed and described herein. An apparatus for generating a vitals target may include a processor, an output device, and a non-transitory storage medium. The output device is communicatively connected to the processor. The non-transitory storage medium may include a number of module. The number of modules may include a target distance identify module, a target animal identify module, a vital zone determine module, a first distance identify module, and a target calculate module. The target distance identify module that identifies a target set distance for a target configuration. The target animal identify module identifies an animal being simulated. The first distance identify module identifying a first distance being simulated at the target set distance. The target calculate module rendering the vital zone for a target distance. The output generate module causing the output device to generate a vitals target.

An apparatus for generating a vitals target may include a processor, an output device, and a non-transitory storage medium. The output device is communicatively connected to the processor. The non-transitory storage medium may include a number of module. The number of modules may include a target distance identify module, a target animal identify module, a vital zone determine module, a first distance identify module, and a target calculate module. The target distance identify module that identifies a target set distance for a target configuration. The target animal identify module identifies an animal being simulated. The first distance identify module identifying a first distance being simulated at the target set distance. The target calculate module rendering the vital zone for a target distance. The output generate module causing the output device to generate a vitals target.

Disclosed herein is a shell simulated shooting simulation system for performing a shell simulated shooting similar to a live shell shooting includes an execution module loading and aiming a shell to perform a shell simulated shooting, a display module visually displaying shooting of a shell according to loading and aiming through the execution module, and a server module collecting information to visually display a result of the live shell shooting on the display module based on the information on the loading and aiming of the shell of the execution module.
