A ball holder for punt training has a base, a length-adjustable post, a support arm, an intermediary connector, and a gripper. The ball holder is designed to be used in a set of two ball holders are positioned on opposite sides of a ball. Thus positioned, the two ball holders retain the ball at an optimal height for being punted. One end of the length-adjustable post is mounted to the base, such that the length-adjustable post is oriented perpendicular to the base. The support arm is laterally mounted onto the length-adjustable post to form a cantilever that retains the ball in a position offset from the length-adjustable post. The intermediary connector is a flexible fastening device that is connected in between the support arm and the gripper. Accordingly, the intermediary connector enables the gripper to be moved out of the way when an athlete punts the ball.

An automatic batting training apparatus includes: a bottom part; a hopper assembly disposed on one side of the bottom part to sequentially discharge a plurality of balls stored therein; and a driving assembly disposed on the other side of the bottom part and including a transfer module adapted to transfer the balls discharged from the hopper assembly in a vertical direction and an ascending/descending module having a tee stand disposed movable upward and downward in such a manner as to allow the balls received from the transfer module to be seated one by one onto top thereof to perform tee batting.

Apparatus and method train a batter to maintain the batter's eyes directed toward a prescribed point of contact where a ball is to be contacted by a bat wielded by the batter during a swing of the bat. A batting tee holds the ball, and a plurality of visually distinct signals on the tee are located such that the signals are blocked from view by the batter when the ball is in place on the tee, and are visible by the batter when the ball is struck from the tee and the batter's eyes are directed toward the point of contact as the ball leaves the tee. A trainer at a remote location manually activates the signals, enabling the selection of one or a combination of signals for viewing by the batter when the batter's eyes are directed toward the point of contact as the ball leaves the tee, allowing verification of the activated signal or signals by the batter as the ball leaves the batting tee, thereby determining if, in fact, the batter's eyes were directed toward the point of contact when the ball departed the batting tee, thus enabling evaluation of the batter's training progress.

A sport training and organization (STO) device, comprising: a base plate, a bucket, and a tee. The bucket is connected with the base plate and has an opening at one end distal from the base plate. The tee is connected with the bucket.

The present invention relates to a device for training and correcting table tennis strokes. The invention comprises: a physical pendulum assembly (20), pendulum axel/pivot assembly (30), ball/axel assembly (50), serve practice assembly (40), table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), mounting bracket/clamp assembly (70) and mounting member 60a. The table tennis training device allows a user to develop their table tennis strokes by tangentially striking the table tennis ball of table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or by rotating physical pendulum assembly (20) approximately 180 degrees and striking a user supplied table tennis ball off of table tennis ball tee (20j). The invention also allows a user to removably secure either, table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or the table tennis ball tee (20j) into the unattached end of serve practice assembly (40) in order to practice striking a table tennis ball at various heights above a table tennis table.

A compact device for assisting place kicking a football is disclosed, including a module connecting telescoping legs and football tip telescoping holding arm, with the legs connecting the module for pivoting the legs from a ground engaging position to a transport position beneath and parallel to the arm.

The invention includes apparatus and methods for a novel modular self-returning batting tee. In one preferred embodiment, a modular self-returning batting tee may have one or more extension arms that are compatible with a variety of different batting attachments and/or aids, and may further be secured to a receiver tube positioned within a flexible boot. This receiver tube may be coupled with a weighted base through a novel recoil joint. In this embodiment, when the tee is struck, such as may occur during batting practice, the extension arm may bend forward engaging the flexible boot and/or novel recoil joint and causing the extension arm to self-return to a pre-determined position.

A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.

A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.

A device for vertically launching a ball up into the air. The device has a holding tee for selectively holding a ball. The holding tee is supported by an actuator. The actuator is movable between a first position, where the holding tee is extended, and a second position, where the holding tee is retracted. A main spring biases the actuator into its first position. When moved to its retracted second position against the force of the mainspring, the actuator engages a release mechanism. The release mechanism maintains the actuator in its second position for a period of time before the release mechanism automatically releases. Upon release, the mainspring immediately returns the actuator to its first position. This rapidly forces the holding tee upwardly. Any ball resting on the holding tee is subsequently launched into the air.
