The baseball/softball hitting training device includes a base, a frame body, and a ball suspension system. The ball suspension system is supported by the frame body. The frame body includes a vertical stem portion and an offset portion. An upwardly-projecting arm of the vertical stem and a downwardly-projecting arm of the offset portion define a vertical axis between them. The ball suspension system is supported between the upwardly-projecting arm and downwardly-projecting arm, with the ball held vertically intermedially via a tether in alignment with the vertical axis and positioned to allow the player to practice hitting. In some aspects, a height-adjustment mechanism and/or additional coupling assemblies are also disclosed. The tethered-ball training device can optionally be converted to a tee-ball training device.

A golf putting system is provided including a platform, a platform holder, a golf mat, an incline, a golf cup, a ball return, a flap, an inlay, and a ball return extension. The platform can either be inserted into the holder, or at a golf mat's aft end. Two or more golf mats can be connected on to each other with a tongue and groove or snapping system allowing the golfers to add and remove golf mat sections to their desired length. A flap can cover seams between sections allowing the golf ball to roll to a golf cup without any obstruction. The platform and holder can move linearly down a golf mats axis allowing the golfer to set any distance from a golf cup.

The present invention is a ball sports, ball striking, practice and teaching aid which provides a unique two ball, ball striking practice design, that includes a fixed yet displaceable and self resetting ball and a second free to fly ball that is catapulted or tossed by using the energy that is provided by the force of impact between the fixed ball and a ball striking implement, for example a tennis racket or baseball bat, said fixed ball is situated at the uppermost end of a rigid, geniculated, longitudinally governed, displaceable, and self resetting wand, which crowns a rigid, unyielding, upright post that is affixed to a portable base of sufficient mass and weight to hold the upright post firmly in a perpendicular to the base, upright position.

There is provided herein an apparatus and method for teaching a baseball participant how best to swing a bat in order to urge a struck ball to fly in a particular direction. More particularly, various embodiments provide immediate feedback to the batter make proper corrections for a properly hit baseball by forcing the batter to swing the bat at a predetermined angle appropriate for a desired ball trajectory.

A batting practice tee has a tee portion and a targeting apparatus in association with the tee portion. The tee portion has a support structure and a ball holder. The support structure has a base end and a distal end. The ball holder is connected to distal end of the support structure and has a ball receiving opening. The targeting apparatus has a light transmitter and an angle indicator in association with the light transmitter. The light transmitter is positioned adjacent the ball holder and produces a light stream to project a target onto a surface. The angle indicator provides a human-perceivable indication of an angle of the light relative to a horizontal plane.

A baseball swing training device has a base, a support member adjustably connected to the base, and a suction assembly disposed in the base that extends through and out of the support member to hold a ball in a stationary position. The suction assembly includes a coil vacuum hose disposed within the support member, and connected to a vacuum pump assembly, and an elongated hose connected to the coil vacuum hose at one end, and removeably connected to a suction nozzle at an opposite end.

A hitting aid and method of use to improve a baseball/softball players batting swing and swinging path. The proper bat swing path is characterized by placing the round barrel part of the bat level to the round ball to strike the ball in a solid manner. The method of use, comprises of slipping on a vertical pad or pads with various colors and adjusting the pad to the desired handle and or barrel positions. While swinging at a ball the hitter is always keeping the vertical pads in the upright vertical position, automatically forcing the round bat to strike the round ball squarely through the pre-impact, impact, and post impact palms up positions that are required for solid zone striking contact for any kind of pitch or location, thus eliminating arm and wrist rolling over or under the ball.

An athletic training net for receiving projectiles. The training net has a storage sleeve affixed to an upper end, wherein the storage sleeve includes a plurality of upper grommets at an upper end and a plurality of lower grommets at a lower end. The training net further includes a plurality of hook and strap fasteners, with each comprising of a strap secured to a structural member of a garage door and a hook for catching the plurality of upper and lower grommets. The training net has a training configuration and a storage configuration. In the training configuration, the hooks are received by the plurality of upper grommets and the net is vertically suspended form the garage door. In the storage configuration, the plurality of upper grommets remains suspended from the hooks, the net is enfolded in the storage sleeve, and the plurality of lower grommets is secured by the hooks.

The baseball/softball hitting training device includes a base, a frame body, and a ball suspension system. The ball suspension system is supported by the frame body. A base assembly for a batting tee includes a base having a base guide path formed in an upper surface of the base, and a track plate positioned such that the track plate covers at least a portion of the upper surface of the base. The track plate includes a first segment and a second segment that surrounds at least a portion of the first segment. A position of the first segment relative to a position of the second segment defines a track plate guide path that extends between the first segment and the second segment such that the track plate guide path has a same shape as the base guide path and is positioned above the base guide path. Alignment of the track plate guide path and the base guide path form a non-linear track, such that the track is configured to slidably receive a portion of a tee.
