Shaped charge devices, systems, and related methods of use
Shaped charge devices, systems, and related methods of use. A housing sheet is configurable to form at least part of a shaped charge enclosure enclosing a shaped charge and biasing an explosion in a desired direction. The housing sheet can include one or more incisions in at least one surface thereof. The housing sheet can have at least one connection mechanism integrally formed therein, and the housing sheet can be configurable to form a plurality of sizes of shaped charge housing portions. The housing sheet can also provide for forming a plurality of dimensions of the shaped charge enclosure.
Box by Pin Perforating Gun System and Methods
A method and system for a perforating gun having a box by pin perforating gun system using swaged down gun bodies. The box by pin perforating gun system may include a removable cartridge to hold a detonator with a switch and an insulated charge holder as an electrical feed-through.

Coaxial perforating charge and its perforation method for self-eliminating compacted zone
A coaxial perforating charge includes a shaped charge and a container having a fracture explosive pack inside. The container is coaxially provided at a front end of the shaped charge; the fracture explosive pack is a ring-shaped explosive pack formed by impregnating a fracture explosive for eliminating a compacted zone into the container; the fracture explosive pack is coaxially arranged with the shaped charge. The fracture explosive includes ammonium perchlorate, aluminum powder, additive, and dioctyl sebacate; the additive is hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB), or a mixture of HTPB, N,N′-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine and toluene di-isocyanate. A perforation method thereof, for self-eliminating a compacted zone, includes steps of: running a jet perforating gun downward; perforating while self-eliminating a compacted zone. The charge and its perforation method are reasonably designed, convenient, safe, reliable, well performed, and able to perforate while self-eliminating the compacted zone, which effectively eliminates an impact on rock permeability of the compacted zone.

Sympathetically detonated self-centering explosive device
An explosive device includes a housing having an outer surface and defining an inner space; a plurality of primary liners arranged on the outer surface in a spaced pattern and having primary energetic material inwardly positioned in the housing relative to the primary liners; an initiation mechanism in the inner space for initiating the primary energetic material to drive the primary liners; and a plurality of additional liners positioned in the spaced pattern between the primary liners and having additional energetic material positioned in proximity to the primary energetic material such that the additional energetic material is sympathetically initiated by initiation of the primary energetic material. The device can find useful application in a military setting and also in the perforation of well casings in subterranean wells.
Compact energetic-breaching apparatus
A compact energetic-breaching apparatus is provided. The compact energetic-breaching apparatus is configured to receive energetic materials for use in energetic breaching. The compact energetic-breaching apparatus may comprise a housing body with a receptacle to receive energetic materials. The compact energetic-breaching apparatus may further comprise a tamping material. The compact energetic-breaching apparatus may further comprise a metal liner which collapses upon detonation to form a cutting jet.
