INITIATOR HEAD ASSEMBLY
An initiator head assembly may include a body and an electrical contact component positioned proximal to the body. The body may include a head extending from a base, and a platform extending from the head, and the body may be injection molded as a unitary component. The electrical contact component may include a line-in portion positioned proximal to the platform and a ground portion positioned proximal to the head. The electrical contact component may be formed integrally with the body such that it is anchored in a fixed position in the body. An initiator for a perforating gun assembly may include the initiator head assembly and a shell coupled to the initiator head assembly.
BOOSTER CHARGE HOLDER FOR AN INITIATOR SYSTEM
According to some embodiments, a holding device for a detonation initiation system is disclosed. The holding device includes an initiator holder having a longitudinal internal cavity. The longitudinal internal cavity is configured to retain an initiator and an electrical cable in electrical contact with the initiator. The holding device further includes a plurality of retention fingers configured for retaining a shaped charge adjacent the initiator. The plurality of retention fingers define a shaped charge receiving portion that may be configured to receive shaped charges of different shapes. The holder may be formed from a thermoplastic material.

DETONATOR POSITIONING DEVICE
A detonator positioning device for use with a detonator in a perforating gun assembly is described. The detonator positioning device may be configured for electrically contactably forming an electrical connection within the perforating gun housing by contact. The detonator positioning device may include a body having a first end, a second end, and a central bore extending between the first and second ends. The central bore may be adapted for receiving one or more electrically contactable components of a detonator. The detonator positioning device can align at least one of the one or more electrically contactable components to form an electrical connection with a bulkhead assembly.
TRIGGERING EXPLOSIVES IN HOLES
An assembly (7) for triggering an explosive in a hole (9) to produce an explosive blast in the hole includes (a) an explosion trigger (15, 19) for triggering the explosive in the hole, (b) a detonation unit body (21) that is configured to be located at or proximate an open end of the hole in an initial position of the assembly in the hole and (c) a trigger cord (31) that is connected to the detonation unit body and to the explosion trigger.
