CONTROLLED PAYLOAD RELEASE MECHANISM FOR MULTIPLE STACKS OF PYROPHORIC FOILS TO BE CONTAINED IN A SINGLE DECOY DEVICE CARTRIDGE
A decoy device including: a cartridge casing; and two or more pyrophoric assemblies disposed longitudinally in the casing for sequential ejection from the casing, the two or more pyrophoric assemblies including: a pyrophoric material; a piston positioned rearward in an ejection direction relative to the pyrophoric material, the piston being movable in the ejection direction upon application of ejection force to eject the pyrophoric material from the casing; one or more energetic materials positioned rearward in an ejection direction relative to the piston, the one or more energetic materials being initiated by electrical impulse to provide the ejection force to the piston; and an inert barrier layer positioned rearward in an ejection direction relative to the impulse cartridge.

Firecracker and firecracker arrangement
A firecracker and firecracker arrangement. The firecracker includes an outer sheath having two face sides and that is closed at both face sides with a layer of barrier material. Pyrotechnic effect elements and a bursting charge are arranged inside the outer sheath. A first ignition line that penetrates the barrier material is guided up to the bursting charge. The bursting charge is accommodated inside a completely closed, cylindrical jacket that is arranged coaxial to the outer sheath such that a longitudinal center axes of the outer sheath and of the cylindrical jacket coincide. The first ignition line is guided through an opening in the cylindrical jacket to the bursting charge. The pyrotechnic effect elements are arranged to form a predefined geometric shape in at least one plane extending transverse to the longitudinal center axis of the outer sheath.

Fireworks aerial display shell with multiple breaks and a method involving same
A fireworks aerial display shell is provided with multiple casings of cylindrical configuration that are joined together in end-to-end relationship. Each casing defines an interior volume in which an effects charge is packed. A plug is positioned between the effects charges and has an opening through which an ignition source passes to ignite one of the effects charges as a result of burning of another of the effects charges. An outer casing may surround at least parts of the multiple cylindrical casings and includes multiple partially ball-shaped segments.
