The present invention relates to a novel fireworks safety device. The device is an adjustable tool for securing fireworks in an upright position. The device comprises a square-shaped base component of wood or metal with openings on top to retain fireworks. The device also comprises a sliding tray component and at least one chamber to separate the sliding tray component away from other portions of the device. The sliding tray component slides to adjust to secure different sizes and amounts of fireworks. Further, the device is portable via an attached carrying strap for easy transportation.

PROTECTIVE FIREWORK APPARATUS

A protective firework apparatus may include a wall configured to at least partially surround a firework, according to various embodiments. The wall may be configured to protect at least one of spectators and property from errant firework emission by at least one of providing a protective barrier between the firework and the at least one of spectators and property and supporting the firework in a desired position to prevent errant firework emission. In various embodiments, the wall comprises a plurality of wall panels that, in an installed state, collectively define a shape surrounding the firework. The plurality of wall panels may be coupled together, and/or the plurality of wall panels may be collapsible such that the protective firework apparatus may be collapsed to a collapsed/storable/storage state.

A fireworks launcher assembly can include a sleeve having a cavity defined therethrough, and a firing tube at least partially received within in the cavity of the sleeve. The firing tube can comprising a passage defined therethrough and plurality of rifling features defined about an interior surface thereof. The plurality of rifling features can cause one or more aerial shells loaded into and launched from the firing tube to rotate as the one or more aerial shells move along the firing tube during launching thereof. A wadding insert further can be received at least partially within the passage of the firing tube, and a base portion can be connected to a lower end of the firing tube to maintain the launching assembly in a generally upright orientation before, during, and/or after launching of the one or more aerial shells therefrom.

A consumer-ready, disposable pyrotechnic display system includes a pyrotechnic module and a control module. The pyrotechnic module includes a mounting substrate, electrically ignitable pyrotechnic devices, and electrical conductors connected to the pyrotechnic devices and disposed beneath the mounting substrate. The control module includes a housing having an upper surface and a bottom surface on which electrical contacts are disposed; and a processor, a memory, a power supply, and a transceiver within the housing. The electrical conductors are connected to the electrical contacts prior to receipt by the consumer. When the transceiver receives a signal from a remote device (such as a cellular telephone), the processor ignites each of the electrical conductors in a sequence programmed into the memory of the control module.

Pyrotechnic launch units and systems

A modular pyrotechnic launch unit includes a launch module, a first module, and a second module. The launch module includes a launch barrel. The first module is coupled in series to the launch module. The first module includes a first ignition state in which the first module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the launch barrel. The first module also includes a first pass-through state in which the first module allows a pyrotechnic element ignited by another module to pass through the first module. The second module is coupled in series to the first module. The second module includes a second ignition state in which the second module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the first module and through the launch barrel.
