Fireworks aerial display shell with multiple breaks and a method involving same
A fireworks aerial display shell is provided with multiple casings of cylindrical configuration that are joined together in end-to-end relationship. Each casing defines an interior volume in which an effects charge is packed. A plug is positioned between the effects charges and has an opening through which an ignition source passes to ignite one of the effects charges as a result of burning of another of the effects charges. An outer casing may surround at least parts of the multiple cylindrical casings and includes multiple partially ball-shaped segments.
Variable firework battery
The invention relates to a firework battery (10), comprising at least one receiving part (11) for at least one pyrotechnic charge (20) and a border (13), which is connected via at least one hinge part (14) to a further receiving part (11) and/or an extension element (15) that continues the border and that is arranged on a receiving part (11), the axis of rotation of the hinge part being arranged vertically in relation to a ground. According to the invention, it is provided that the geometric arrangements of the receiving part (11) and/or of the extension element (15) are movable relative to one another, whereby a bordered support base (30) of the firework battery (10) is enlarged.

Miniature interconnection device for pyrotechnics displays
An electrical interconnection device for coupling a firing module to a pyrotechnic electric match may generally comprise a circuit board comprising a first surface and a second surface, an input connector electrically connected to the first surface of the circuit board to couple the device to the firing module and at least one output connector electrically connected to the second surface of the circuit board to couple the device to the pyrotechnic match. The device may have a weight of less than about 200 grams, and a length of less than about 100 mm, a width of less than about 200 mm, and a height of less than about 100 mm. An electrical interconnection system for pyrotechnic displays comprising the electrical interconnection device is also described.

Debris-free combustible aerial shell
A pyrotechnic projectile including an aerial shell, the aerial shell including at least one combustible layer of material; the at least one layer surrounding and containing at least one pyrotechnic effect and a dispersive explosive charge; the at least one combustible layer including a combustible material configured to burn substantially throughout the at least one layer; and wherein the at least one combustible layer is configured to burn through a thickness at a preselected rate to thereby ignite the dispersive explosive charge.

Consumer-ready pyrotechnic display system and control module therefor
A consumer-ready, disposable pyrotechnic display system includes a pyrotechnic module and a control module. The pyrotechnic module includes a mounting substrate, electrically ignitable pyrotechnic devices, and electrical conductors connected to the pyrotechnic devices and disposed beneath the mounting substrate. The control module includes a housing having an upper surface and a bottom surface on which electrical contacts are disposed; and a processor, a memory, a power supply, and a transceiver within the housing. The electrical conductors are connected to the electrical contacts prior to receipt by the consumer. When the transceiver receives a signal from a remote device (such as a cellular telephone), the processor ignites each of the electrical conductors in a sequence programmed into the memory of the control module.

Pyrotechnic launch units and systems
A modular pyrotechnic launch unit includes a launch module, a first module, and a second module. The launch module includes a launch barrel. The first module is coupled in series to the launch module. The first module includes a first ignition state in which the first module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the launch barrel. The first module also includes a first pass-through state in which the first module allows a pyrotechnic element ignited by another module to pass through the first module. The second module is coupled in series to the first module. The second module includes a second ignition state in which the second module ignites a pyrotechnic element that will then pass through the first module and through the launch barrel.
