METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HOUSING ENCLOSING A PYROTECHNIC LOAD
A method for manufacturing a housing enclosing a pyrotechnic charge and an installation for implementing this method includes inserting a pyrotechnic charge into a charging volume laterally delimited by a rigid cylindrical charging wall and into a lower part by a first element of the housing to be obtained; positioning a second element of the housing to be obtained of cylindrical shape above the inserted pyrotechnic charge and in the extension of the cylindrical charging wall. The second element has a lateral cylindrical wall of the same shape and diameter as the cylindrical charging wall and is able to cooperate with the first element, and jointly translating the second element and the cylindrical charging wall relative to the first element such as to make the second element cooperate with the first element and form the housing enclosing the pyrotechnic charge.

Firing trains
The embodiments are directed to firing trains. The disclosed firing trains include an insensitive acceptor pellet having a proximal end, a distal end, and a plurality of relative percent theoretical maximum density (TMD) zones from the proximal end to the distal end. A donor pellet is adjacent to the insensitive acceptor pellet and is configured to initiate the insensitive acceptor pellet.

Muzzleloader with gas powered ejection
A muzzleloader firearm for use with a projectile, a propellant containment vessel including a prepackaged propellant charge therein, and a primer. The muzzleloader has a stock and a barrel supported by the stock. The barrel has a breech end, a muzzle end, and a barrel wall extending in a forward direction from the breech end to the muzzle end. A breech plug is at the breech end. The barrel being ported to transfer expanding gases from the barrel to the breech plug. A gas passageway in the breech plug directs expanding propellant gases to the propellant chamber behind the propellant vessel seated therein wherein the expanding gases can eject the used propellant vessel.
MUZZLELOADER POWER CELL WITH PRIMER
Muzzleloader systems including a pre-packaged propellant charge with a primer and receptacle. The muzzleloader system may include a propellant containment vessel separate from the primer and the projectile and that doesn't contact with the projectile until assembly. The muzzleloader may be rear loading, with a constriction portion forward of the breech chamber. The propellant containment vessel may include a body portion having a forward opening, with a propellant charge disposed therein and a cap portion that is crimp rolled within the mouth of the vessel to seal the forward opening. The closed end of the propellant containment vessel may define a primer receptacle configured to receive the primer. The receptacle may define a depth that is less than the primer height so that, when inserted into the receptacle, the primer extends rearwardly beyond the containment vessel. The muzzleloader system may be configured to fire only specifically configured propellant containment vessels.
