Baseball/softball hitting training device
The baseball/softball hitting training device includes a base, a frame body, and a ball suspension system. The ball suspension system is supported by the frame body. The frame body includes a vertical stem portion and an offset portion. An upwardly-projecting arm of the vertical stem and a downwardly-projecting arm of the offset portion define a vertical axis between them. The ball suspension system is supported between the upwardly-projecting arm and downwardly-projecting arm, with the ball held vertically intermedially via a tether in alignment with the vertical axis and positioned to allow the player to practice hitting. In some aspects, a height-adjustment mechanism and/or coupling assemblies are also disclosed. The tethered-ball training device can optionally be converted to a tee-ball training device.
BATTING TRAINING DEVICE
A batting training device is disclosed that incorporates a ball arranged secured in an aerial position in order to be batted; has a column, wherein a tube is incorporated, arranged vertically with axial freedom of movement, an elastic cord passing through the tube, the lower end of which is fastened to the lower end of the tube, while the ball is fastened at the upper end of the elastic cord. The ball rests on the upper end of the tube. The tube is made up of segments, each segment provided on the outside with a guide slot with respect to a rod, has a bend that communicates with the slot of the adjacent segment, except for in the last lower segment, wherein the bend in the corresponding slot communicates with a return channel running along the entire length of the tube and communicates with the slot of the upper segment.
Sports hitting training system for lightweight balls
A hitting system for sports training includes a ball attached to a flexible mast. The flexible mast may be mounted to a base with more than five sidewalls, which inhibits movement of the system in any one direction after the ball is struck by the user. The mast may project upward from the base. Some embodiments include a weighted basket, which may be filled for example with a plurality of the same type of ball mounted to the flexible mast. Some embodiments may be configured for training with lightweight balls, for example pickle balls. The mast may include a securing mechanism which attaches around one of the pre-existing holes of the ball's shell. In some embodiments, the mast may be modular including a mechanism to detach from and reattach to the basket at the user's will. When detached, the mast becomes a hand-held hitting system.
KICK TRAINING DEVICE TO MEASURE THE STRENGTH AND ACCURACY OF A DOMINANT AND WEAK LEG KICK
A training device for performing a training kick includes a base adapted to be supported on a horizontal support surface. The device further includes a ball, a front frame attached to the base and defining a first slot, a rear frame attached to the base between the front frame and the rear side of the base, the rear frame defining a second slot, a ball holder assembly comprising a first guide slidable within the first slot and a second guide slidable within the second slot, the ball holder assembly fixed to the ball and movable relative to the base such that the ball is movable in a kicking action toward the rear side from a first position to a second position, and a resistance band coupled to the base and operable to bias the ball holder toward the first position.
Batting Tee
A batting tee and/or hitting training device is provided that includes a platform, a support extending upwardly from the platform and a holder disposed on the support opposite the platform for holding the ball to be hit. The support additionally includes a cross-beam disposed on the support adjacent the holder. The cross-beam can be positioned at an angle with regard to the support, such that the cross-beam has an upward slope from one end to the other. This slope enables the batting tee to provide the individual with a guide for an upward swing path of the bat towards the ball disposed on the holder.
Practice device
A practice device includes a base, a support tube, a post, an axle, a first ball rod, and a brake. The support tube extends upward from the base and has a support tube longitudinal axis. The post extends from the support tube and has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is engaged with the support tube and the second portion includes a first arm. The axle is coupled to the first arm and has a rotation axis. The first ball rod is coupled to a first practice ball and extends between the first practice ball and the axle. The first ball rod is configured to rotate about the rotation axis of the axle and when the first ball rod rotates about the rotation axis of the axle, the first practice ball contacts the brake to slow rotation of the first ball rod.
SPORTS TRAINING SYSTEM FOR CORRECT PITCHING MOTIONS AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF
Described is a sports training system that can be used to assist pitchers in identifying foot placement and mechanics during a pitching motion. The sports training system includes a mat and plurality of foot pads. The mat is designed to have at least a pitching plate and a plurality of grid zones, while the foot pads are used for placement in one or more of the plurality of grid zones to assist the pitcher with foot placement.
Some embodiments may include an adjustable mount assembly which allows the user to adjust an angle of the mast relative to the ground so that the ball may be hit at different lateral and elevational positions. In some embodiments, the mast may be modular including a mechanism to detach from and reattach to the basket at the user's will. When detached, the mast becomes a hand-held hitting system.
Multi-sport training devices, systems, and methods and stands for mounting multi-sport training devices
A multi-sport athletic training device is provided, which is comprised of an elongate hollow container and a packing material. The elongate hollow container has a first end and a second end and is made of a flexible material. The first and second ends are closed to maintain the packing material within the elongate hollow container. The elongate hollow container is at least partially filled with the packing material such that the elongate hollow container absorbs impact and provides resistance. In exemplary embodiments, the packing material is sand. Exemplary embodiments of an athletic training device may further comprise two steel plates closing the first or second end of the container. Methods of manufacturing an athletic training device are also provided. A stand assembly for mounting an athletic training device is also provided.
