The Adapter is an aluminum replacement part for the Concept 2 rowing machine. It replaces the plastic end cap at the upper end of the box frame. Attachment is achieved with pre-existing bolts on the machine. The adapter provides a safe and secure attachment point on the Concept 2 rowing ergometer for coaches/trainers/athletes to attach a 1 tie-down strap used in teaching and training.

Methods and devices relating to a rowing handle including a grip portion and two members that are formed or attached on opposite sides of the grip portion relative to center of the grip portion and each member having a hook shape. In some implementations, the hook shape of the first member is formed in a first direction relative to a grip axis defined by the grip portion, and the hook shape of a second member is formed in a second opposite direction that the hook shape of the first member. In some implementations the hook shape of the first member and the hook shape of the second member are formed in a same direction relative to the grip axis.

A system and method for providing an exercise bar for a user to use for rowing or other exercises in the water of the spa or adjacent to the spa. The exercise bar may comprise a central hub, and two sides, each with a first inner tube attached to opposing side of the central hub and a an outer tube in telescoping connection with the inner tube, and a handgrip in connection with the first outer tube. A connector may be mounted to the central hub, the connector to enable the exercise bar to be connected to one or more resistance cables. The exercise bar may be adjustable from a first, shorter length for use with exercises in which a user's hands are positioned closer together and a second, longer length for use with exercises in which a user's hands are positioned father apart.

A rowing machine can include a frame, a seat movably attached to the frame, the seat being configured to slide horizontally along the frame, a flywheel rotatably mounted to an end of the frame, a cable having a free end and an end attached to the flywheel, and an adapter assembly for compatibility with multiple oar or handle configurations.

A rowing device having a seat and track arrangement, a handle, and a resistance mechanism, with the seat track being disposed on a carriage. The carriage itself is movable relative to a base of the device and is drivable in a posterior and anterior direction. The device includes a controller operatively connected to a drive mechanism and to a seat position sensor. As the rower exercises, the controller sometimes generates an instruction to move the carriage in an anterior direction when the seat is at or near its posterior extreme position, to thereby simulate a rush circumstance as may be encountered on a crewed shell.

A power meter includes a housing, a fixation assembly arranged at two ends of the housing, and a tension detection device arranged inside the housing and connected to the fixation assembly. The fixation assembly is configured to be detachably connected to two mechanical coupling members of a tension assembly of a rowing machine to cause a part of the tension assembly between the two mechanical coupling members to be in a relaxed state. The tension detection device is configured to detect a pulling force applied on the fixation assembly.

A portable paddleboard exercise apparatus having a balance platform, an elongated member, a paddle handle, and a number of resistance bands. The apparatus may further include a frame with one or more support members configured to support the balance platform. The balance platform includes an upper surface for a user to balance thereon. The elongated member extends from the balance platform. The resistance bands extend from a distal end of the elongated member to the paddle handle. A user may balance on the balance platform in one of a number of positions while pulling the paddle handle against a resistive force generated by the resistance bands.
