HIGH SPEED SURFACE CRAFT AND SUBMERSIBLE CRAFT
A marine vessel comprising: at least one buoyant tubular foil; and at least one baffle plate positioned about the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil so as to protrude into the flow of water passing by the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil, whereby to create a high-pressure zone fore of the at least one baffle plate and a low-pressure zone immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate, whereby to create a dense stream of supercavitated water immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate.
Nose arrangement and method for deploying a nose arrangement of an underwater vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a nose arrangement (100) for an underwater vehicle (10). The nose arrangement comprises a first separation section (110) comprising a first inflatable structure (113) and a second inflatable structure (114) arranged within the first inflatable structure (113). The first separation section (110) is arranged store the first inflatable structure (113) and the second inflatable structure (114) in a first state, and to inflate the first inflatable structure (113) and the second inflatable structure (114) in a second state. The first inflatable structure (113) is arranged to protrude along the longitudinal axis of the nose arrangement and underwater vehicle in the second state. The disclosure also relates to a method for deploying a nose arrangement (100) of an underwater vehicle.
Buoyant energy devices
A buoyant energy device is disclosed. Differing specific gravities between various materials are used to drive turbine blades to create energy by cycling the materials through a turbine activation area. The materials include water, oils, gasses (lighter than air and ambient air), or various other materials as circumstances may require. The device produces electricity that may be stored or used immediately. It is contemplated that the device could be used to power a missile, a torpedo, static mines, or the like.
Underwater vehicle equipped with electrochemical means of electrical power generation
The invention concerns an underwater vehicle equipped with electrochemical means of electrical power generation, characterized in that it comprises a data processing unit (2) with inputs connected to sensors (4) of a parameter selected from amongst temperature, pressure, and hydrogen concentration, of the water in the area of the vehicle, and of the electrochemical means of the vehicle, and with outputs connected to means (5) of transmitting signals to transmit signals authorizing (or not authorizing) an operator to approach the vehicle, depending on whether the sensed value of the parameter of the electrochemical means is in a predetermined range around the value of the parameter corresponding to water in the area of the underwater vehicle.

Variable diameter conical nose
A variable diameter conical nose is provided. The conical nose includes a cone formed from a circular sheet of ductile material having a sector removed. The formed cone has a first overlapping portion and a second overlapping portion overlying the first overlapping portion. The first overlapping portion is fixed and the second overlapping portion is free to move. The conical nose includes an actuator capable of varying the diameter of the cone by moving the second overlapping portion relative to the first overlapping portion.

High speed surface craft and submersible vehicle
A water craft comprising: an elongated hull comprising a passageway having an inlet and an outlet; a pump jet disposed within said passageway intermediate said inlet and said outlet; said pump jet being configured to receive water entering said passageway through said inlet and pump said water out of said outlet, whereby to propel said hull through water; a plurality of nozzles disposed on the outer surface of said hull, aft of said inlet, wherein said plurality of nozzles are configured to release a friction-reducing fluid, whereby the friction-reducing fluid displaces water from the surface of said hull so as to diminish friction on the outer surface of said hull and facilitate high speeds.
