Spa rowing adapter
The spa rowing adapter is a device for installation within an existing pool or spa that transforms the pool or spa into a rowing machine. The user grips lever arms, pulling on the arms from a seated or standing position in a rowing motion. In contrast to the prior art, the spa rowing adapter uses a resistance cylinder rather than floppy resistance bands or bungee cords. The resistance cylinder provides an adjustable amount of resistance during both the extending and retracting motions. The resistance cylinder changes length in response to a force, with the resistance of the motion set by an internal mechanism. The internal mechanism is adjustable by the user through rotation of a collar.
Row boat for rowing training
A row boat for rowing training includes a hull including a bottom and four sidewalls, and a pair of oars connected to opposing sidewalls, each oar including a handle and an oar scoop disposed as an end of the handle, wherein the oars are configured to rotate about a first axis of rotation to move the oars during a pull phase and a flex phase of a rowing stroke, and wherein the oars are configured to rotate about a second axis of rotation to change an angular orientation of the oar scoop in water during the pull phase and the flex phase.
Adaptor for an indoor rowing machine
A rowing machine can include a frame, a seat movably attached to the frame, the seat being configured to slide horizontally along the frame, a flywheel rotatably mounted to an end of the frame, a cable having a free end and an end attached to the flywheel, and an adapter assembly for compatibility with multiple oar or handle configurations.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INCREASED REALISM OF TRAINING ON EXERCISE MACHINES
An exercise machine includes a cyclical actuator and a mechanical energy storage device. Connective structure operatively connects the cyclical actuator to the mechanical energy storage device. Motion of the cyclical actuator urges physical motion of and energy storage in the mechanical energy storage device. The exercise machine further includes an electric machine. A communication pathway enables exchange of data between multiple associated exercise machines such that multiple associated operators on multiple associated exercise machines have a common experience.
ACCESSORY FOR ROWING ERGOMETER MACHINES
Accessory for rowing ergometer machines comprising an elongated arm provided at one end with coupling means intended for coupling to the main frame of the rowing ergometer machine, while the opposite end of the elongated arm includes coupling means (oarlock) for rotatably coupling an oar, thus obtaining a simulation of the movements generated during the practice of rowing a boat.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE ROWER
A multi-functional rowing exerciser apparatus accommodates a plurality of rowing and paddling by connecting or releasing a cable system to selectively configure the rowing exerciser for sweep rowing, sculling oar rowing configuration to the Stand-Up-Paddling configuration in an easy and convenient manner.
Electromechanical physical resistance device
The present invention describes an electromechanical exercise machine that simulates the inertia and weight of a mass in Earth's gravity field and allows a user to move said simulated mass in the primary degrees of freedom of a traditional barbell free-weight system, with or without the use of various accessories.
PORTABLE PADDLEBOARD EXERCISE APPARATUS
A portable paddleboard exercise apparatus having a balance platform, an elongated member, a paddle handle, and a number of resistance bands. The apparatus may further include a frame with one or more support members configured to support the balance platform. The balance platform includes an upper surface for a user to balance thereon. The elongated member extends from the balance platform. The resistance bands extend from a distal end of the elongated member to the paddle handle. A user may balance on the balance platform in one of a number of positions while pulling the paddle handle against a resistive force generated by the resistance bands.
Unstable rowing simulator
Lever-type rowing machine, whose main rigging dimensions meet the corresponding parameters of sweep rowing or sculling boat is mounted to the base frame by using front and rear elastic suspension so that the simulator makes it possible to rotate (tilt) about its transverse and longitudinal axes and move vertically, thus making it possible to simulate the boat swings on the transverse and longitudinal axes and movement in the vertical direction. In addition, the simulator has passive and active stabilization systems, enabling the athlete to maintain a balance, and stiffness of its front and rear suspension and stabilizer system can be adjusted depending on the weight and balancing ability of user. There is also a possibility to constraint the suspension thus ensuring full stability of the simulator and exercise regime, corresponding to the exercising on common rowing machines.
SCULLING SIMULATOR
A sculling simulator includes a base, a slide rail to which a foot stretcher is adjustably mounted and a movable seat is mounted, a pair of wings attached on their front side to the base of the simulator, with an oar pivotally attached to each of the wings on the other side, each oar being connected by its own gearbox to its own resistance fan, allowing realistic training of the movements used in a real rowing boat.
