Fabricating embedded fragmentation cases for anti-personnel mines

A method of permanently affixing tungsten cube fragments to the fragmentation warhead in a convex Claymore mine having a plastic case and a housing. Pieces of predetermined sized structural film adhesive are positioned at temperature 60 F.5 F., then pressed into the plastic case while pouring tungsten cubes into the case. The cubes are arranged into desired patterns all at temperature 70 F.2 F. An interface plate and 5 lbs of weight are then placed atop thereof and all are heated in an oven at temperature 205 F.5 F. for four hours for full cure of a desired product.

The present invention is generally related to paint ball firing devices. More specifically, the present invention is related to paintball land mines, which can fire multiple paintballs simultaneously and methods of making and using same. Furthermore, the present invention is capable of allowing the device to be disassembled (i.e., field serviceable) and provides a range of combustion chambers, barrel assemblies, and cartridges to be used in the device. In this manner, a wide range of projectile types and feet per second (f.p.s.) projectiles can be used in the device.

A detection device includes: a detector having an inherent detection area to detect entry of a detection target into the inherent detection area; a restrictor for restricting the inherent detection area to a specific set detection area; a body having a detector opening part; a detector fixer for fixing the detector; and a restrictor fixer whose position is fixed to the detector fixer and to which the restrictor is fixed, the restrictor fixer configured so that a relative position between the detector and the restrictor is fixed by fixing a position of the restrictor to the detector fixer via the restrictor fixer. The detector and the restrictor whose positions are thus fixed are assembled to the body so that a circumferential edge of the detector opening part is located outside the set detection area while the restriction of the inherent detection area by the restrictor is maintained.

In order to prevent an electric primer from operating due to a power noise induced by a magnetic field or generated by the falling of a thunderbolt or other factors, such as a communication device, a shield layer formed by weaving or braiding a conductive fiber, such as a carbon fiber, or weaving or braiding a copper-plated tin wire, is formed in the wire and percussion unit of the claymore mine. In order to discharge a power noise introduced into the wire and the percussion unit to the earth, a power noise discharge adaptor including a plurality of diodes, a TVS, a GDT, and an SPD is formed. Accordingly, the introduction of a power noise can be fundamentally blocked, and a power noise can be safely discharged to the earth if the power noise is introduced.
