Precision case holder
A precision case holder engages the extraction groove of the rim of a straight wall case and established a fixed distance between a base of the case and a precision forward surface of the holder. The case may then be inserted into a case trimmer and the holder establishes a repeatable distance between the base of the case and a cutting tool in the case trimmer. The holder includes a tapered slot with edges which engage the extraction groove and a threaded piston which is tightened against the base of the case. The case slides into the tapered slot until the taper resists further sliding, and the piston is tightened to retain the case.

High straightness arrow and method of manufacture
The high straightness arrow in the present invention is designed to improve the straightness of the archery arrow by adopting new manufacturing technique and method. Chamber and post are made of dissimilar metals and the chamber includes a wall that creates an external housing and defines an internal airspace. Once the post with shaft is positioned through chamber, nuts are tightened securely, forming an assembly, to straighten post. Due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion of chamber and post, when they are heated simultaneously, the chamber expands more than the post, creating a natural tension along post which results in a near perfectly straight shaft. As the assembly cools, the post and chamber return to their original length, yet the shaft retains its straightened form and thus this manufacturing process yields an arrow shaft that is straighter than shafts made of the same materials but with a traditional manufacturing technique.

Case Trimmer with Sliding Sleeve
A case mouth trimmer and chamferer includes a clear sliding sleeve covering windows in a barrel portion to capture trimmings. The case mouth chamfer tool may be fixed to a micrometer dial threadedly engaging the barrel. A case adapter bearing is fixed to the barrel to position cases. An end m ill is used trim the case length or a case mouth chamfer tool is adjusted to cut an inside chamfer and the micrometer dial is rotated to adjust the position of the end mill or the case mouth chamfer tool with respect to the case adapter bearing to precisely adjust the amount of material cut from the case. An adjustable cutter holder member slides in a dovetail, is adjusted by advancing and retreating a screw, and is held in place by a set screw. The case adapter bearing is easily changed to chamfer different cases.
Loading system for an ammunition case gauge and method for loading ammunition cartridges into the ammunition case gauge
A loading system for an ammunition case gauge is provided. The system includes first and second movable support assemblies that are coupled between a base plate and an upper support plate. The system includes a feeder housing coupled to the upper support plate having an interior region communicating with a top open end thereof and a side opening thereof. The system includes a pusher plate having a bottom wall and a plurality of shafts that receives the case gauge thereon. The system includes a feeder plate that is disposed on the case gauge such that the case gauge is disposed between the pusher plate and the feeder plate. The side opening is sized to receive the pusher plate, the case gauge, and the feeder plate therethrough. The system includes a vibratory motor that vibrates the feeder plate, the case gauge, and the pusher plate.

Small caliber production ammunition machine with novel measuring location and device
Herein described is a small caliber ammunition production loading machine with a novel measuring location and device. The machine will load one cartridge at a time and is referred to as a single-out machine (see FIG. 1). The machine will be similar in nature to existing loading machines with the following key novel aspects: a) The cartridge overall length (OAL) will be measured both as an overall dimension which is industry standard and also at a key datum location on a bullet's ogive. Measuring to a repeatable datum point on the bullet's ogive gives a more accurate representation of the cartridge's ballistic ability.
