Universal holder for a clip or magazine for a firearm
Holders usable to retain a clip, magazine, or other container for ammunition can include a body configured for attachment to a surface and an insertable member extending from the body, the insertable member being adapted for insertion into the interior of a container for ammunition. The insertable member can bias the container for ammunition against a portion of the body to create friction between the container and the body and prevent relative movement between the two objects. Alternatively or additionally, contact between the insertable member and the interior of the container, can create friction for preventing relative movement between the container for ammunition and the holder. The insertable element can be compressible to enable passage through an external opening in the container to facilitate removal or insertion.
Holder device
A holder device for holding objects includes a holder body, a moveable carrier element, and a force generating system tending to move the carrier element in a first direction to a first position when the carrier element is in a second position away from the first position. The carrier element constitutes a trough having a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the first direction, a wider area closer to a bottom of the trough, and a narrower area farther from the bottom of the trough. When the carrier element is in the first position, a rim of the holder body closes the trough so that the objects cannot be moved in the longitudinal direction to and from the trough. When the carrier element is in the second position, the objects can be moved in the longitudinal direction to and from the trough.
Ammunition feed belt linkage bracket
A guidance tab is provided for separating a cartridge round at its base from an aft linkage bracket within an ammunition chain. The tab includes a plate, a pair of legs and a pair of feet, and is composed of polyamide-imide. The plate has an obverse surface for engaging the base of the cartridge round and a reverse surface for engaging the aft linkage bracket. The plate is oriented along a longitudinal direction of the ammunition train and a lateral direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the cartridge round. The pair of legs extends from flanking sides of the plate in the axial direction towards the aft linkage bracket. The pair of feet extend substantially parallel to the plate. Each foot extends from a respective leg of the pair of legs.
