Detonator system for hand grenades
The invention relates to a detonator system for hand grenades, having an ignition element (1) which after initiation triggers a delay and safety device, which, with a time delay after the initiation, fires a detonator (7), which then ignites an ignition booster (8), wherein the delay and safety device includes a dual safety device of two independent parts. So that the hand grenade detonator system according to the invention includes a purely pyrotechnic detonator system instead of a pyrotechnic-mechanical system, it is suggested that the delay and safety device consists of two pyrotechnic ignition delay devices with different delay timesspecifically a safety element (3) and a delay element (4)wherein the delay time of the safety element (3) is shorter than the delay time of the delay element (4), and the safety element (3) includes a timing composition which, once it has burned through, ignites a gas charge (9), the gas of which opens blocking elements (5), and the delay element (4) includes a firing charge, and the firing charge is only in operative connection with the detonator (7) after the opening of the blocking elements (5).

PYROTECHNIC DELAY ELEMENT DEVICE
The present invention is a pyrotechnic time delay system that is improved over prior-art designs. Specifically, the system described herein comprises at least one delay element. The delay element or delay dements each have an input charge, a delay composition, and an output charge. Both the input charge and the output charge are igniter compositions and are comprised of the same components despite having different functional goals. The input charge and output charge compositions preferably contain titanium, manganese dioxide, and polytetrafluoroethylene. The delay composition may be modified from current formulations to include manganese and manganese dioxide, or tungsten and manganese dioxide. The system disclosed herein may be comprised of one delay element, or it may be modular wherein multiple delay elements are connected in series.

REACH-COMPLIANT PYROTECHNIC DELAYED-ACTION COMPOSITION AND PRIMER CHARGE HAVING VARIABLY SETTABLE PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS
A pyrotechnic delayed-action composition and primer charge made of REACh-compliant components that are safe for humans and the environment. The delayed-action composition comprises at least one oxidant, at least one reducing agent, at least one filler and at least one mineral binder. The performance parameters thereof, in particular the burning time, can be set variably within a wide range. The composition clinkers on its own, thus preventing extinction at the front of the burning material even in dynamic conditions. The primer charge comprises at least one oxidant, at least one reducing agent, at least one filler and at least one mineral binder. It is easy to ignite and, due to its clinker structure, transfers its energy well to the compositions to be ignited. The delayed-action composition and the primer charge have the same structure and can easily be combined and adapted to each other in delayed-action units.
Energy transfer device
An energy transfer device (10) is provided that is capable of transferring the energy output from one pyrotechnic device (52) to another device (78) for initiating firing thereof. Device (10) comprises a device housing (12) in which a deformable device insert (14) is received. Device insert (14) comprises a central passageway (34) for transmitting the output from a pyrotechnic device (52), including energy, gasses, and/or solids, to another pyrotechnic device (78). The passageway (34) conducts the pyrotechnic device output to a precise location on the second pyrotechnic device (78) where firing is most effectively initiated. The energy transfer device (10) may be employed as a part of a tool (44) used in well completion operations.
Firearm projectile usable as a hand grenade
A projectile includes a body containing pyrotechnic material. A rear cap closes a rear end of the body. A pyrotechnic unit includes an ignitor in communication with the pyrotechnic material. A striker is arranged to strike a primer of the pyrotechnic unit. A safety lever is arranged initially to restrain movement of the striker towards the pyrotechnic unit. An external safety keeper is arranged initially to clamp a portion of the safety lever to the body.

Fuze for stun grenade
A stun grenade includes a fuze assembly secured to a housing adjacent gas outlet ports. The fuze assembly includes a fuze body having contact surfaces located in the flow path of the gas from the outlet ports so that gas flowing from the outlet ports impinges on the contact surfaces. The contact surfaces of the fuze body extend at an angle of no more than about 50 degrees to the first direction.
