IGNITER
An igniter includes a first ignition charge, a first member which has a predetermined inner surface and a second member. The second member is arranged in a state of being inserted into the first member and which has a predetermined outer surface opposed to the predetermined inner surface in an arrangement state, for forming a predetermined space to arrange the first ignition charge between the predetermined inner surface and the predetermined outer surface. When the second member is rotated with respect to the first member, then the first ignition charge is ignited in the predetermined space by means of a predetermined pressure including a shear force generated between the predetermined outer surface and the predetermined inner surface in accordance with the rotation, and a combustion product of the first ignition charge is released from an opening of the predetermined space. Accordingly, preferable ignition of the ignition charge is realized.
DETONATION TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
A detonation transfer assembly is disclosed. A detonation transfer assembly may comprise an external casing comprising an input end and an output end axially opposite the input end, an explosive column spanning axially inside the external casing, a primary explosive disposed within the explosive column, and a secondary explosive disposed within the explosive column axially between the primary explosive and the output end. The primary explosive and/or the secondary explosive may comprise a thermally insensitive initiation material that resists at least one of detonation or thermal degradation in response to temperature increase rate of 3.3° C. per hour over at least twenty hours.

Firing device
A shock-tube firing device has an enclosure and at least two primer-ignition devices translatably carried within the enclosure. A threaded bore for each primer-ignition device is adjacent a forward end of the associated primer-ignition device and configured to receive a threaded shock-tube adapter. A trigger assembly is carried by the enclosure and comprises an actuation portion and a carrier portion, the actuation portion causing rearward motion of the carrier portion. A biasing element for each primer-ignition device causes forward motion of the associated primer-ignition device. A sear for each primer-ignition device causes compression of the associated biasing element during movement of the actuation portion, thereby compressing the biasing elements for causing forward motion of the primer-ignition devices.
