Method for producing a hollow body which is pressure-tight to a predetermined medium
A method for producing a hollow body that is pressure-tight for a predetermined medium through the joining of at least two sub-bodies, which when joined form the hollow body that contains the medium in a gaseous and/or liquid state during the intended use of the hollow body; the at least two sub-bodies are integrally joined by means of an integral joining method that can be successfully performed at ambient pressure; the medium is introduced into at least one sub-cavity of at least one sub-body in a solid or partially solid state before the integral joining is performed, the medium is introduced together with a container element that contains or holds the medium in a solid or partially solid state, from which containing element the medium can escape in the liquid or gaseous state; and then the integral joining is carried out.
HYDROGEN ENGINE AND THE WAY OF HYDROGEN FUEL PRODUCTION FOR ITS POWER SUPPLY
A combustion engine having a pair of two-chamber cylinders, in which double ended pistons are located and directed toward themselves oppositely by the angle 180 and compressed together via crankshafts consisting of two crank elements, which are linked rotationally backward by a spacer bearing. The compression is realized with the use of two connecting rod pairs, from which each connecting rod is linked on the one side to with one crank element, whereas the second connecting rod ends are linked to one of shafts, out of which each shaft is connected with one of pistons via a valve rod. In the middle of each cylinder's wall the outlet channel of compressed air is located as well as the outlet channel of products of combustion together with air. In the head of each cylinder and in the compartment the fuel injector, the water vapor injector and the ignition element are located.
Injector pump with roller bearing assembly
A positive displacement injector pump for use in the oil and gas industry includes friction reducing roller bearing and head assemblies. The roller bearing assembly is provided to reduce friction in the operation of one or more fluid delivery injector heads and utilizes a motor driving a crosshead and power hub. The power hub has a hub cam follower roller bearing with at least three peripheral perpendicular mounted rolling bearings. A cross head communicates with the hub cam follower roller bearing and is adapted to reciprocate the head assembly to drive the plunger of the injector pump with a guide rod.
Sliding block for a scotch yoke reciprocating piston engine
A sliding block for a scotch yoke reciprocating piston engine having a base body with a receiving opening for cooperating with a crankpin of a crankshaft and side surfaces, which are oriented toward slide ways of a scotch yoke during operation, with a supply of pressurized lubricant from the receiving opening for the crankpin to the side surfaces being provided during operation, characterized in that the base body is provided with sliding plates in the region of the side surfaces oriented toward the slide ways of the scotch yoke, characterized in that the sliding plates are supported in floating fashion relative to the base body and between the sliding plates and the side surfaces, there is a gap, which is at least partially filled with lubricant during operation of the scotch yoke reciprocating piston engine.
Wobble piston having angled compression ring and spherical piston cap
A wobble piston is provided to be used in an air compressor for providing compressed air, and includes a piston cap having a generally flat first plate and a peripheral edge extending downwardly from the first plate. A connecting support rod is connected to the piston cap, and a compression ring is clamped between the edge of the piston cap and the support rod in complementary fashion. Upon assembly between the cap and the support rod, the compression ring has an angled side wall that is bent upwardly inwardly at a predetermined obtuse angle relative to a longitudinal axis of a cylinder.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An internal combustion engine for use in land, aerial and water vehicles and various kinds of machinery. A first version of the engine has a cylinder with the inlet channel of compressed air and the outlet exhaust channel situated in the middle of it. In the cylinder head as well as in the partition there are the fuel injector, the water injector and the ignition element. In the middle of the partition the slide bearing is embedded, through which the tappet rod goes. The upper end of this rod is attached to the bilateral piston, whereas its lower end is connected to the connecting rod. The water injectors are powered from the water container through the heating element and the metering device. A second version the engine has a plurality of cylinders in a radial orientation.
CRANKSHAFT HAVING BALANCE WEIGHT
A crankshaft having a balance weight, the crankshaft a crank pin eccentric to a rotation axis of the crankshaft, a connecting rod connecting the crank pin and a piston, and a balance weight disposed to be opposite to the crank pin in the crankshaft, wherein the balance weight has radius which is a distance between the rotation axis of a crankshaft and an exterior circumferential surface of the balance weight, and wherein the radius of the balance weight is formed differently depending on a rotation direction of the balance weight.
Cryogenic refrigerator
A cryogenic refrigerator includes a Scotch yoke mechanism including a Scotch yoke and a bearing movably engaged with the Scotch yoke, and a displacer caused to reciprocate in a cylinder by the Scotch yoke mechanism, so that a refrigerant gas inside an expansion space formed in the cylinder is expanded by the reciprocation of the displacer to generate cold temperatures. The Scotch yoke includes a concave part at a position corresponding to a top dead center of the displacer.
Internal combustion engine with asymmetric port timing
An internal combustion engine enabling asymmetric port timing has an engine mechanism including a crankshaft having a crankpin to which each piston of an opposed pair of pistons is connected and by which the pistons are reciprocatable in a respective one of axially inline cylinders. The mechanism also includes a crosshead having opposite ends on each of which a respective piston is mounted, and a coupling between the crosshead and the crankpin by which the pistons are caused to oscillate circumferentially as the pistons are driven to reciprocate.
Clip-fastened raceway for a variable compression ratio engine
A clip-fastened raceway for a variable compression ratio engine includes: at least one curved segment whose outer surface cooperates with a raceway housed in the transmission member or in the control member of the variable compression ratio engine and whose inner surface is maintained in contact with a curved outer surface housed in the toothed wheel of the engine; at least one clip, housed in at least one of the ends of the curved segment and fastened to one or the other of the ends of the curved outer surface housed in the toothed wheel and hooking onto a hook or protrusion which the wheel includes in the vicinity of the end of its curved outer surface, the hook or protrusion being complementary to that of the clip so as to be able to cooperate with the latter.
