A fencing target assembly for practicing fencing includes a stand that has a plurality of hinged members. The stand is positionable in a deployed position having each of the hinged members defining a respective leg of a triangle such that the stand can be vertically oriented on a support surface. The stand has a track that is integrated into a respective one of the hinged members. A plurality of targets is each attachable to the stand having each of the targets placed at a variety of locations on the stand. In this way each of the targets can facilitate a user to practice fencing maneuvers. Each of the targets has a penetrable element to facilitate a fencing foil to penetrate the penetrable element.

A platform for holding events including the use of replicas of medieval armor and/or replicas of medieval weapons, including a battle area located on a supporting structure at a level above the platform base, and smooth slopes extending downward along the entire perimeter from the sides of the battle area and having a base of hard material and executed with a soft coating, wherein a stumbling barrier is located along the entire perimeter or along two opposite sides of the battle area.

A grappling dummy having a generally human shape includes a trunk with a head, arms, and legs extending from the trunk. The legs can be connected together by a connecting leg segment forming a leg enclosure. The grappling dummy also includes padding disposed about the trunk, the head, the arms, and the legs. The trunk defines a midline, and the head can extend longitudinally from the trunk angled in a forward direction from the midline at about forty-five degrees. Each of the arms can extend from the trunk at about forty-five degrees. Each of the arms can lie in a generally transverse plane with respect to the midline. Each of the legs can extend from the trunk at about forty-five degrees. Each of the legs can lie in a second plane angled in a forward direction from the midline of the trunk at about forty-five degrees.

A head target with may feature realistic eye targets and a rearward handle for use in martial arts practices. The handle may be constructed in a manner to also allow the use of a wall mount with a plurality of support spurs to support the head target in a realistic posture in a manner to withstand multiple blows from the training individual. A mounting plate, upon which the wall mount is positioned, aids in a secure mounting to a wall.

A lightweight training aid is disclosed including selectively positioned posable appendages for use in various training exercises. The training aid may be formed of one or more separable and distinct portions including a head module, a torso module and a leg module, and combinations thereof. The head module and/or leg module may be releasably coupled to the torso module by interchangeable mounting arrangements. Appendages of the training aid may be posable, at least within a set range of motion, within any of a potentially infinite number of orientations. The present invention provides for a martial arts kicking and punching apparatus comprising: a first portion designed like a martial arts chest protector; a paddle having a handle on one end and a padded portion designed to look like a martial arts helmet; a device for securing the paddle to the first portion; and an electronic scoring system comprising a sensor, a transmitter and a receiver.

A punching bag having a body, a pair of arms, and a support mechanism is disclosed. The support mechanism is for suspending the punching bag from an elevation via a cable connected to a rod, which rod is secured to the body. The rod is movably connected to a pair of stabilization bars which extend from a base and are for preventing excessive movement of the punching bag. The punching bag also has a head, a belly, and a pair of kidney components for better simulating a human body.

A body held sparring device configured for either striking or being hit with the addition of a secondary target. The secondary target is offset from the sparring tool and designed to yield when struck, rather than transmit dangerous torque to the body part holding the sparring tool. Additionally, the sparring tool can further incorporate additional sparring tools, additional secondary targets and or additional control body points.

An exemplary martial arts training device comprises anatomically correct legs, arms, torso and head that can be used individually, or partly or fully assembled. A user interacts with the device, and receives both immediate feedback and a global analysis of his training session. Feedback can include whether proper forces and angles were applied to achieve an actual break or other desired fighting goal in an opponent, and can be measured by the actual breaking of various strike points on the device, or by alerting the user when an appropriate sensor is struck with the required strength. The device can include breakable joints, bones, as well as soft tissue targets preset to respond to a defined striking force or joint manipulation. The user can reset the damaged physical structure or response sensor to its original configuration and setting, making the device repeatedly reusable.

Disclosed is a training device having a joint function suitable for training various complex motions for various body parts such as an arm, a leg, a head, and a trunk for training martial arts, which includes: a shaft; a joint having a diameter larger than that of the shaft and disposed at one end portion of the shaft; a joint support contacting the joint and elastically supporting the joint; and a shaft support elastically supporting an outer side of the shaft at the one end portion of the shaft.
