Backpressure passage rotary compressor
A backpressure rotary compressor may include at least one vane, at least one vane slot configured to accommodate the at least one vane and provided with a pocket portion and a slide portion, and a backpressure passage provided with a backpressure inlet disposed in front of the at least one vane slot and a backpressure outlet formed in the pocket portion. The backpressure passage may perform a role of allowing a compression chamber and the pocket portion to communicate with each other. According to the backpressure passage rotary compressor, proper pressure may be supplied to an inner end of the vane, thereby reducing a mechanical loss caused by pressure occurring in a close contact portion between an outer end of the at least one vane and an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and achieving high efficiency in relation to driving a device.
Rotary sliding vane machine with hydrostatic slide bearings for the vanes
The invention relates to a rotary sliding vane machine (1) for fluid processing, comprising a housing (2) with a cavity (4) with a rotor (9). Vanes (12) are arranged in outwardly directed slots (13) in the rotor (9), and relative sliding between the vanes and the rotor provides spaces with variable volumes in the rotational direction. Each vane is supported by hydrostatic slide bearings (20, 20′) on each side of the vane (12). Due to pressure changes of the process fluid, the vane (12) is tilted towards and away from bearing pads (27, 27, 87). The invention causes the bearing pads to adjust their position to the vane (12), and also causes a change of volume of a bearing fluid chamber (21, 21′, 81), which in turn effects a supply of bearing fluid to the slide bearing fluid film.
Rotary compressor with unequally spaced vane slots
A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner circumferential surface with an annular shape to form a compression space; a roller having a plurality of vane slots disposed at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface thereof, and rotatably inserted into the compression space of the cylinder; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the respective vane slots to rotate together with the roller and by which the compression space is divided into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the vane slots is unequally spaced in a circumferential direction. Accordingly, periodicity of noise may be reduced to thereby increase the effect of noise reduction of the compressor.
EXTERNAL COMBUSTION ROTARY ENGINE
The present invention describes an external combustion rotary engine, which, due to the separate combustion chamber of the engine, is possible the operation at a lower temperature than those internal combustions, therefore, the engine efficiency is greater. Another characteristic presented by the external combustion rotary engine is that it has concentric expansion chambers and through cams that have a rotor, it is possible to take advantage of the expansion force of the working fluid. The external combustion rotary engine is of closed-cycle operation, so the consumption of additional water is reduced as work fluid since the amount of water within the system is sufficient. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the external combustion rotary engine, thanks to its operation principle, can be applied in the electric power generation field.
Compressor with mechanical seal
A compressor includes: a casing with an inner wall defining a compression chamber, an inlet leading into the compression chamber, and an outlet leading out of the compression chamber; a rotor rotatably coupled to the casing for rotation relative to the casing; and a gate coupled to the casing for movement relative to the casing. The gate may be pivotally, or translationally coupled to the casing. A hydrostatic bearing may be disposed between the gate and casing. A plurality of compressors may be mechanically linked together such that their compression cycles are out of phase.
Vane pump
A vane pump includes a housing, a rotor, a vane and a reed valve. A position at which the sliding direction of the vane with respect to the rotor is inverted from outward to inward is defined as a reference position, and a section of the pump chamber on the discharge hole side with respect to the reference position is defined as a discharge section. A pressure relief groove is disposed in a portion of the bottom wall portion corresponding to the discharge section with a clearance secured between the peripheral wall portion and the pressure relief groove. When the vane overlaps the pressure relief groove, a pair of the working chambers communicate with each other via the pressure relief groove.
LOBE PUMP
The invention relates to a lobe pump with a. a housing (10), having an inlet (11) and an outlet (12) for the medium to be pumped, b. at least one lobe (20), which is mounted in the housing (10) so as to be drivable and rotatable and which has at least two conveying vanes (22) provided with a contour, which lobe conveys the medium to be delivered from the inlet (11) to the outlet (12), c. and one sealing element (30) per lobe (20), which is mounted on a sealing body (42) and runs over the contour of the lobe (20) during rotation of the lobe (20) and performs an outward travel movement from a minimum diameter of the lobe (20) to a maximum diameter of the lobe (20) and an inward travel movement from the maximum diameter of the lobe (20) to the minimum diameter of the lobe (20) on different sides of the conveying vanes (22), wherein d. the distance which the sealing element (30) covers on the inward travel side (221) of the conveying vane (22) during the inward travel movement is smaller than the distance on the outward travel side (222) during the outward travel movement.
ROTARY COMPRESSOR
A rotary compressor is provided that may include a rotational shaft, first and second bearings configured to support the rotational shaft in a radial direction, a cylinder disposed between the first and second bearings to form a compression space, a rotor disposed in the compression space and coupled to the rotational shaft to compress a refrigerant as the rotor rotates, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the rotor, the at least one vane coming into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to separate the compression space into a plurality of regions. The at least one vane may include a pin that extends in an axial direction, and at least one of the first bearing and the second bearing may include a rail groove into which the pin may be inserted.
VANE WEARING DETECTION
A vane for use in a rotary vane pump. The vane has a length L extending between a first edge of the vane and a second edge of the vane and a width W extending perpendicular to said length, the width extending between a third edge of said vane and a fourth edge of the vane, and further comprising a channel extending through said vane and provided at a position along said length L of said vane. The channel maybe positioned away from said first and second edges such that said vane has a constant length L along its width. The width of the channel may vary in shape between first and second points along the length of the vane. The channel may have a triangular shape, a rectangular shape or a circular shape. A method for detecting the decrease in length of the vane is also described.
NEW VANE SHAPE
A vane for use in a rotary pump “R” a first portion P1 having a first thickness T1 and a second portion P2 which has a second thickness T2 that is greater than the first thickness T1. In some examples, the vane has an L-shaped cross-section. In other examples, said second portion P2 has a circular cross-section.
