ELECTRONIC TRACKING SYSTEM WITH HEADS UP DISPLAY
An electronic tracking system for assisting a user in determining distances to landmarks and objects in a sporting environment includes a user tracking system for determining the location of a user, a heads up display for displaying information to the user, and a processor operable to communicate with the user tracking system and the heads up display. The heads up display is designed to be worn on the user's head, and to display an image within the user's field of view. The processor is programmed to determine a distance between the user's determined location and an object or a landmark on. This information is displayed via the heads up display as a numeric representation of the determined distance.
Real time sports motion training aid
A sports training aid comprising a body unit, attachable to a person's body or the person's sports implement, is provided with a positioning sensor module; a feedback stimulator; and a processor. The sports training aid is configured to provide instantaneous feedback on motion faults of a studied sports motion, and the body unit is intended to be attached to a person's body (or a person's sports implement) at a representative location, the location being bound to travel a path representative of the studied sports motion, and the positioning sensor module comprises acceleration sensors and gyro sensors. The processor is configured to determine a still position corresponding to an event wherein the body unit is determined to be still, to keep track of the sensor module's movements relative to the still position, and to activate the feedback stimulator in real time, upon detection of a sports motion fault.
Golf swing training tool based on grip angle control
A golf swing training tool including an arm band (which connects the elbows) and the club shaft are connected by a cord maintain a prescribed grip angle. The arm band is configured to adjust a distance between the elbows. An elastic clip locks onto the club shaft and is configured to encircle the club shaft, and enables easy changing of the grip angle by using an opening lever to change the locking point with a single touch. As a result, frequent changes in grip angle can be made much more easily. Three types of cords are employed, a low-elasticity cord, a high-elasticity cord, and a cord combining both are used to achieve twelve different types of training methods.
PUTTING ALIGNMENT TRAINING DEVICE
A putting alignment training device that is securable to an upper torso of a user, having an elongated shoulder board, an adjustable harness that is secured to the shoulder board and configured to secure the training device to a front side of the upper torso, a frontal board, an adjustable connector that secures the frontal board to the shoulder board, a grid board including a grid formed by a plurality of horizontal lines and a plurality of vertical lines wherein one of the plurality of horizontal lines and the plurality of vertical lines are parallel to the shoulder board.
Lineup Glasses
Lineup glasses has a left lens connected to a right lens. One or both of the left lens and the right lens has a horizontal line and one or both of the left lens and the right lens may also have a vertical line that is perpendicular to the horizontal line. In addition, the horizontal line may have a plurality of horizontal spacing points and the vertical line may have a plurality of vertical spacing points.
The horizontal line and the vertical line on a lens create a virtual target line and a virtual vertical line, respectively, visible and could be superimposed over the golf ball and the ground so that the golfer could better align his stance, see a straight line between the ball and the target represented by the virtual target line, and to better estimate the distance between the ball and the target.
GOLF AID INCLUDING VIRTUAL CADDY
A golf aid system for assisting a user with a golf shot on a golf course includes a user tracking system configured to determine the location of the user on the golf course, a portable electronic device with a display screen, and a processor. The processor, which is operable to communicate with the user tracking system and the portable electronic device, is configured to determine one or more target locations on the golf course, with each of the target locations representing a recommended target for a respective one of the golf clubs. The processor directs the portable electronic device to display an indicator of the respective golf club proximate the corresponding target location via the display screen, such that the user perceives at least a portion of the indicator to be coincident with the corresponding one of the target locations.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ATHLETIC MOTION ANALYSIS AND INSTRUCTION
A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.
GOLF EYEGLASSES FOR ASSISTING DIRECTIONAL ALIGNMENT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
Provided are golf eyeglasses for assisting directional alignment and a method for operating the same, wherein, inertial measurement devices, such as a gyro sensor and an accelerometer, installed in the golf eyeglasses are used to calculate the rotation angle of the golfer, and pairs of LEDs installed in both the front left-hand side and the front right-hand side of the eyeglasses blink at a period proportional to the rotation angle so that the golfer can know the direction and angle at which additional rotation/adjustment should be made, thereby assisting the golfer in achieving a set-up/address posture that is exactly at a right angle (90 degrees) with respect to the ball-to-target line.
GOLF SWING TRAINING DEVICE
A golf swing training device for regulating the distance of the elbow of the dominant arm from the side of the body of a user during a golf swing.
